Dior seems to be all about glow these days. Starting with this new lipstick range, Dior Addict Glass Lipsticks, we now have Glassy Glow Highlighter Sticks (available at Sephora) and 4 new shades of glowy blush stick, and other stuff coming soon as well. 

I have to say these new Glass Lipsticks are quite amazing. I would not call the formula entirely innovative, but it strikes all the right notes, plus it comes with fancy packaging, too!

Tom Ford Soleil 2026 Collection is a big part of the brand's overhaul and reformulation, and it's quite impressive. Earlier this year, they brought out the new versions of pressed powder and creme eyeshadow formulas, and the new version of the wet/dry formula was introduced as "Lumière" in this Soleil makeup collection. There are different shades of bronzers and highlighters as well, which are permanent. The blushes and lip colors are limited editions for this season.

The Soleil compacts come in the sleek white packaging with a gold T in the middle, and this design is consistent with the new Runway and Creme eye quads.

Prada has introduced a new lip gloss line. There seem to be 8 shades, but we currently have only 6 shades in the US. I have picked up 3 shades. 

At the end of the day, this is a lip gloss, but I have to say it's an excellent one - hydrating, smoothing, nourishing, and pretty. 

Dior does pastels very well, and their spring makeup collections usually consist of arrays of pastels. This year's collection isn't an exception. Dior Ultra-Glow makeup collection for 2026 would be a delicious choice if you are into lighthearted pastel shades. Unfortunately for me, I always find pastel shades difficult to pull off, and the eyeshadow quints from the main part of the collection did not appeal to me at all. I ended up purchasing from the subpart of the collection - usually called a "Buds" collection, and this small subsection used to be Japanese Isetan exclusive, but it's been generally available for shoppers in other parts of the globe in recent years.

I am still not overjoyed by the collection as a whole, but there are some beautiful things that surpassed my expectations!

Dior has introduced another large makeup collection for the fall of 2025, the "Miss Dior" collection. This is rather a large collection with 3 subparts plus 1 additional eye palette for Asia and Europe. Personally, I am not so crazy about the graffiti-like lettering or the fact that I am paying extra for the part of the collection that I don't care for. But! I really like what's inside, which we all know is the most important part. I picked up quite a bit from the "Shocking Pink" part of the collection, and I am enjoying it. This will be another great Dior makeup collection in my book.

On top of the large summer collection, Dior has introduced yet another limited-edition collection with the "Cannage" motif from the iconic Lady Dior bag patterns. This collection is comprised of 4 neutral eye quints, a new mascara, and liquid eyeliners. 

The biggest attention draw would be the fancy packaging. I actually give Dior a brownie point for building a new mold for a new eyeshadow case. It is made of hard plastic with a matte grainy texture, which might be a disappointment to some who wanted it to be "leather". I find it just fine and rather neat and practical. I always like seeing the connection between beauty and fashion when it comes to couture makeup.

If anything, Prada has certainly found its niche in the luxury beauty realm. Generally speaking, it's not very often we see unexpected and eccentric color combinations in pigmented formulas in luxury beauty, and so far Prada has given that to us. Now, Prada offers some very basic neutral color stories in their wonderful (or even better ) eyeshadow formula. There are 3 eyeshadow quads and each of them is inspired by Prada's archive prints. We all could use some good neutral eyeshadows but the color stories might not be what you expect. It is a lovely launch, but I do have some mixed thoughts.

Le Blanc is one of my favorite Chanel makeup collections, and this year's offering, "Camélia Futura" is exceptionally gorgeous! 

Traditionally speaking, Le Blanc is an Asian Exclusive skincare line for brightening, and makeup collections are also offered as an extension. The theme is usually pearl or camelia flower. It used to be only available in the Asian market but is now available in several different markets. It usually arrives before the spring collection but this year, we had the spring collection first.

I purchased several items and I can tell you this is a cohesive and well-curated collection that will satisfy many different people, although Le Blanc usually celebrates bright fair skin tones (vs. Les Beiges is for healthy sunkissed skin).
