Chanel Les Beiges 2025 "Golden Hour" Collection

Dior Summer Collection may have stolen the show, but Chanel really aced Les Beiges this year. I admit that I felt uninterested when I first saw the photos (and this is probably why we should all avoid those leaked photos), but guys, everything in this collection is way more gorgeous in person. The color story of Chanel Les Beiges "Golden Hour" Collection is meticulous in its own right, plus the formulas are amazing.

This year, Chanel gave the Spring/Summer collection to us earlier than usual (Traditionally, we would see a Le Blanc collection first). This is essentially a pastel collection but the colors can be mixed and matched in a unique fresh way. I usually find pastels harder to pull off because high-contrast colors with clarity look better on me. However, I find these lighter colors quite easy to wear and the formulas are just amazing that it's been a pleasure creating different looks with the collection!

Chanel Joues Contraste Intense

Chanel has a new version of their iconic Joues Contraste blush and it is now available on the Chanel US website!

I initially purchased 3 shades but fell in love with this new cream-to-powder formula and ended up with all 5. These colors are sophisticated and refined basics that cover a wide spectrum and are also permanent. I think there is something for everyone.

Chanel usually doesn't offer separate summer makeup collections (traditionally, "Les Beiges" collections are understood as summer offerings), but this year we get an extra treat of a standalone summer makeup collection - Jardin Imaginaire. It is full of dreamy vibrant colors that are just perfect for summer and the formulas are excellent. It is probably one of the "prettiest" Chanel makeup collections in recent years.

Tom Ford Architecture Soft Matte foundation swatch review

I have recently added 3 different base makeup products to my collection - Tom Ford Architecture Soft Matte Foundation, Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation, and Dolce&Gabbana Blueberry Nutri-Tint.

They all have different finishes and levels of coverage so I am not trying to compare the formulas here, but all of them are wonderful options for my makeup routines and have one thing in common - the shade match is excellent!

This collection celebrates the night hours consisting of 8 new limited edition shades. However, the biggest draw would be the chic black and white packaging. These days, it is increasingly scarce to find the classic Chanel eyeshadow quads with the Tissé formula. 2024 is Chanel's 100th anniversary of their makeup, and the brand is supposedly launching many different makeup collections this year. The rumor has it that Chanel will be discontinuing the Tissé formula or at least updating it, and I am afraid it might be true. Tissé Camélia had been on my lowkey wishlist for a very long time and it was finally crossed off. I wanted to share some swatches of this classic beauty as well as a couple of other classics such as Tissé Rivoli and Tissé Cambon.

Chanel Spring 2024 Makeup Collection is stunning! This is probably the most sought-after spring makeup collection this year. This vibrant collection is inspired by the beautiful ocean and ocean life. The colors and textures are quite unusual for a Chanel makeup collection. The overall feel of this collection is fresh and special yet wearable. I have purchased most of the collection and have played with them for about a month now and I am really fond of this collection. Very memorable, to say the least!
