As a part of the Summer 2026 offering, Chanel has brought out new lip glosses as well as some beautiful LE nail polishes. The previous Rouge Coco Gloss has been reformulated to "Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss", and there are gorgeous 18 shades, including 3 limited edition shades.

There are some matching nail and gloss colors, so I picked up 4 matching pairs. What can I say? I am big on matchy-matchy stuff.
Cristal & Cristalline - pale pink with multi-faceted shimmer
Écletique & Affirmée - pale mint shimmer
Infiniment & Spectaculaire - greyed out purple shimmer
Inimitable & Incontournable - sheer oxblood
I also purchased a few more glosses and a special lip gloss case. The case is boutique-exclusive, and you can purchase it for $11 US if you buy 2 lip glosses. You can choose the shades you like.

Reflet is a milky lavender, and Ornement is a bright metallic fuchsia with a blue sheen.
I honestly love all the shades I chose. The finish and the level of pigmentation all differ depending on the colors, but they are gorgeous in their own unique way.
Formula
Now, the formula does feel different from the previous version. For the record, I loved, and still love, all my Rouge Coco Glosses, but you might see the new formula as an improvement. I guess both formulas have their own merits, but the new one feels lighter and more hydrating on the lips. I still detect the same scent, but it is quite faint in the new formula. Only a couple of classic shades like Bourgeoisie and Icing made the cut, so if your favorite shades are not in the new lineup, that would be the reason to stock up on the previous ones. But the change of the formula wouldn't be a reason to rush out unless you enjoy the slightly weightier formula of the previous version.
There are 6 limited edition nail colors that came out with the new lip gloss lineup. All 6 shades are sheer, and they are so gorgeous and perfect for summer!
I did a full mani with Spectaculaire. In this photo, I am wearing a color correcting base and one generous coat of Spectaculaire. What a moody, yet breezy summer nail shade! I love it.
In sum, I think Chanel has done a wonderful job with this part of their summer offering. Chanel lip gloss has a special place in my heart, and it is still the best luxury gloss in my book. I'd comfortably recommend trying these new glosses as well as the new nail shades.
