Tom Ford Soleil 2026 Collection is a big part of the brand's overhaul and reformulation, and it's quite impressive. Earlier this year, they brought out the new versions of pressed powder and creme eyeshadow formulas, and the new version of the wet/dry formula was introduced as "Lumière" in this Soleil makeup collection. There are different shades of bronzers and highlighters as well, which are permanent. The blushes and lip colors are limited editions for this season.
The Soleil compacts come in the sleek white packaging with a gold T in the middle, and this design is consistent with the new Runway and Creme eye quads.
Tom Ford Soleil Eye Quad Lumière, Moonlight Dip ($96, Nordstrom)
There are 5 different quads in the Soleil line, but Moonlight Dip is the only one that is brand new. I am sour because the cult favorite Nude Dip did not make the cut, and Moonlight Dip is supposedly a replacement.
It is a beautiful neutral palette with both warm and cool tones, and it is definitely more versatile than Nude Dip, which is mainly for cool-toned smoky eyes.
As you see, Moonlight Dip and Nude Dip are two different animals. At least they give me different looks, although the top two shades are quite similar.
But I have to say that Tom Ford has been excellent with these reformulations. I think this new Soleil formula is almost as good as the OG wet/dry formula, and the new Runway quads feel even better now. (I have not experienced the new Creme formula because I have all shades in the old formulas and didn't feel I needed to buy the same colors just to compare.)
Soleil Glow Highlighting Powder, Capri ($70, Nordstrom)
The formula is smooth yet has enough oomph to give that noticeable glow. The finish is gorgeous!
I still prefer the smaller OG compact, but now we are getting more product with a lighter price tag. Not that the amount of makeup was ever an issue for me, but I do like this move from Tom Ford since the quality is not sacrificed here.
Soleil Sunkissed Blush, Bicoastal ($40, Macy's)
Soleil Tinted Lip Glow, Suite Tropique ($40, Nordstrom)
Very honestly, these two are K-beauty stuff in Tom Ford packaging. Don't get me wrong - K-beauty formulas can be very innovative and amazing, but I don't think these are better than K-beauty blushes and lip stains that are about $15. I think the shades are more nuanced and have that Tom Ford charm, though.
The liquid cream blush has a moussy, whipped texture that blurs and blends out amazingly. The color is very intense, but it is not hard to blend out evenly.
The tinted lip glow is my least favorite because it has a taste to it. The formula is quite common in the Kbeauty range, and you can easily find something with no taste.
Here is the makeup look I created using all 4 things I picked up from Tom Ford Soleil collection:
