Guerlain L'Heure Bleue Collection

For the Fall of 2026, Guerlain did not give us new makeup. Instead, we have a gorgeous new fragrance, L'Heure Bleue, and 3 gorgeous limited-edition Rouge G cases with the "blue" theme. I didn't know what to think of the new fragrance because of the ozonic top note. I was curious, but I was also a bit worried cause ozonic notes are not in my scent profile. It surprised me a big time, though! And the Rouge G cases are just so beautiful, and indeed collectible.

Guerlain L'Heure Bleue Eau de Parfum ($110, Sephora)

First of all, the bottle is stunning! It maintains the classic L'Heure Bleue bottle shape, yet it has a modern feel to it. The gradient of cobalt blue is stunning. 

If you are a fan of the classic version of L'Heure Bleue, fear not. The OG can still be found in Guerlain's Les Légendaire Collection. If you were expecting an updated version of the classic, you might be disappointed. To me, the new L'Heure Bleue is completely a new fragrance, although there are a couple of shared notes. I would say this is a new, fresh interpretation of the same natural phenomenon - The Bluish Hour.

The ozonic top note is very striking and unexpected. Once you smell it, though, you will crave it. On my skin, the ozonic note stays. Soon, the velvety iris note and the soft vanilla emerge, and these notes mesh with each other and stay forever. The experience is almost linear for me until the 36th hour, when it becomes slightly naughty. 

The projection and performance are a beast. One light spray is all I need, and it is immortal on me. I almost wish it were not as strong, but I am sure Guerlain will bring us a lighter version of this in the future. 

I am having a great fragrance season lately, and L'Heure Bleue is a big standout. I wouldn't call it a safe blind buy because of the strong projection, but it is definitely worth trying. It's not even in my scent profile, but I deeply enjoy it. 

Guerlain Rouge G Cases ($45, Guerlain)

I am a makeup lover but not a collector, so getting all 3 of the limited-edition Rouge G cases without new lipstick bullets is unusual for me. Let's say I couldn't pass up these gorgeous creations. I don't know how Guerlain keeps creating such beautiful designs through and through! (We have another beautiful one coming in the holiday collection.)

These cases are available at major retailers as well, but I'd recommend getting them directly from Guerlain and having yours engraved. It is a true luxury experience.

Overall, this is a special and beautiful collection from Guerlain. And memorable. I will surely remember this collection.
