Dior seems to be all about glow these days. Starting with this new lipstick range, Dior Addict Glass Lipsticks, we now have Glassy Glow Highlighter Sticks (available at Sephora) and 4 new shades of glowy blush stick, and other stuff coming soon as well. 

I have to say these new Glass Lipsticks are quite amazing. I would not call the formula entirely innovative, but it strikes all the right notes, plus it comes with fancy packaging, too!

According to Dior, they have improved the formulation itself so it is now more hydrating and has more natural-origin ingredients. But most significantly, Dior added a bunch of new shades in different finishes and pigmentation levels. Currently, there are whopping 31 shades available on the Dior website. I picked up 4 shades in 4 different finishes. Please keep reading for my thoughts and swatches!

Dior Spring 2025 Makeup Collection is all about light ethereal glow and fresh shades of pastel. The main collection is named "Glowmania" and as usual, there is a sub-part of the collection, a "Buds Collection". I purchased quite a few items from both parts having 2 different makeup looks in mind. I don't always find pastel shades easy to pull off but I see why so many people love how Dior does its pastels. These colors are fresh and beautiful and give you a variety of finishes and glows if not depth. 

I purchased quite a few pieces from the Dior Holiday 2023 Makeup Collection but that was not my initial intention. I only ordered an eyeshadow quint, a blush, and a liquid lipstick, but Dior made yet another mistake on the website and put the incorrect names on the eyeshadow palettes. I am not joking. Dior has done something like this with every collection for the past couple of years. Long story short, I ended up ordering the other eye quint and blush plus some other stuff so here we have a lot to look at. The good thing is that I am not mad about having more than what I had planned. This year's collection is inspired by Tuileries Garden and although it is not exactly unique, everything is really well done, and they seamlessly create beautiful looks. Dior has introduced another large makeup collection for the fall of 2025, the "Miss Dior" collection. This is rather a large collection with 3 subparts plus 1 additional eye palette for Asia and Europe. Personally, I am not so crazy about the graffiti-like lettering or the fact that I am paying extra for the part of the collection that I don't care for. But! I really like what's inside, which we all know is the most important part. I picked up quite a bit from the "Shocking Pink" part of the collection, and I am enjoying it. This will be another great Dior makeup collection in my book.

Dior does pastels very well, and their spring makeup collections usually consist of arrays of pastels. This year's collection isn't an exception. Dior Ultra-Glow makeup collection for 2026 would be a delicious choice if you are into lighthearted pastel shades. Unfortunately for me, I always find pastel shades difficult to pull off, and the eyeshadow quints from the main part of the collection did not appeal to me at all. I ended up purchasing from the subpart of the collection - usually called a "Buds" collection, and this small subsection used to be Japanese Isetan exclusive, but it's been generally available for shoppers in other parts of the globe in recent years.

I am still not overjoyed by the collection as a whole, but there are some beautiful things that surpassed my expectations!

Dior Summer 2023 Makeup Collection has arrived and it has one of my favorite shades - blue!
