Here on the blog, I mostly talk about makeup and not enough about skincare. It is just that skincare is a long-term commitment and not always easy to "show" like makeup. However, I have been quite diligent with my skincare routines and have seen some positive results lately. I still believe less is more when it comes to skincare but if you know what works and choose the right stuff for you, more can be more, it seems. This post is more of a documenting the current skincare routine of mine and I hope to follow up with more posts like this one.

Long story short, these are frankly the best skincare that I've experienced in a long while. I have been using this duo for more than a full month both in my AM and PM routines and I am still enjoying every bit of it. Please read on for my experience.

This year, I continue to discover innovative skincare products from Korea, and Cell Forté probably is the most effective one that I have tried so far.
I did not know about the brand to be honest with you, but I was intrigued by the story of how the brand was founded (the founder was in search of natural yet effective skincare for her own mother's severely damaged skin after chemotherapy). I also liked the idea of utilizing high-performance ingredients such as medical grade EGF, 9 different Peptides, and brightening botanicals. I mean, I do trust the old-school anti-aging properties like AHA and Retinols but it has been such a relief taking a break from them.
I have been using Cell Forté skincare in the evening for about a month now and the results have been phenomenal!

These days I feel lukewarm about PR offers but my interests were piqued when Madeca Derma reached out to me. It's because they are developed by a pharmaceutical company that makes the topical ointment that I have used all my life! Madecassol is like Neosporin in Korea but only so much better. I have to tell you this story - A long time ago, I went rollerblading without proper gears (I was confident because I learned speed skating growing up) but ended up hurting myself pretty badly. I put on Neosporin for two days and my wounds didn't get any better so I went to a Korean pharmacy and bought Madecassol instead. Everything healed right away with no scar behind! Madeca Derma skincare line also benefits from the same ingredient used in the ointment (Centella Asiatica) which is known to be exceptional for healing and revitalizing, so I knew this skincare line would be good and it certainly did not disappoint.
