Dior has introduced another large makeup collection for the fall of 2025, the "Miss Dior" collection. This is rather a large collection with 3 subparts plus 1 additional eye palette for Asia and Europe. Personally, I am not so crazy about the graffiti-like lettering or the fact that I am paying extra for the part of the collection that I don't care for. But! I really like what's inside, which we all know is the most important part. I picked up quite a bit from the "Shocking Pink" part of the collection, and I am enjoying it. This will be another great Dior makeup collection in my book.

On top of the large summer collection, Dior has introduced yet another limited-edition collection with the "Cannage" motif from the iconic Lady Dior bag patterns. This collection is comprised of 4 neutral eye quints, a new mascara, and liquid eyeliners. 

The biggest attention draw would be the fancy packaging. I actually give Dior a brownie point for building a new mold for a new eyeshadow case. It is made of hard plastic with a matte grainy texture, which might be a disappointment to some who wanted it to be "leather". I find it just fine and rather neat and practical. I always like seeing the connection between beauty and fashion when it comes to couture makeup.

If anything, Prada has certainly found its niche in the luxury beauty realm. Generally speaking, it's not very often we see unexpected and eccentric color combinations in pigmented formulas in luxury beauty, and so far Prada has given that to us. Now, Prada offers some very basic neutral color stories in their wonderful (or even better ) eyeshadow formula. There are 3 eyeshadow quads and each of them is inspired by Prada's archive prints. We all could use some good neutral eyeshadows but the color stories might not be what you expect. It is a lovely launch, but I do have some mixed thoughts.

Le Blanc is one of my favorite Chanel makeup collections, and this year's offering, "Camélia Futura" is exceptionally gorgeous! 

Traditionally speaking, Le Blanc is an Asian Exclusive skincare line for brightening, and makeup collections are also offered as an extension. The theme is usually pearl or camelia flower. It used to be only available in the Asian market but is now available in several different markets. It usually arrives before the spring collection but this year, we had the spring collection first.

I purchased several items and I can tell you this is a cohesive and well-curated collection that will satisfy many different people, although Le Blanc usually celebrates bright fair skin tones (vs. Les Beiges is for healthy sunkissed skin).

The Givenchy Spring 2025 Makeup Collection is arguably my favorite spring collection this year. It is a simple and rather small collection compared to the Chanel and the Dior collections, but it is on point and so beautiful!

Nars used to be quite a special makeup brand for me then I slowly fell out of love over the years. Then, I started paying attention again last year when they brought out the "With Love" collection. This year, Nars offers a similar format to the Valentine's Day collection but this 9-pan palette is also included. For some reason, it popped up last year on the Nars website and I was immediately drawn to the color story. 

Dior Spring 2025 Makeup Collection is all about light ethereal glow and fresh shades of pastel. The main collection is named "Glowmania" and as usual, there is a sub-part of the collection, a "Buds Collection". I purchased quite a few items from both parts having 2 different makeup looks in mind. I don't always find pastel shades easy to pull off but I see why so many people love how Dior does its pastels. These colors are fresh and beautiful and give you a variety of finishes and glows if not depth. 

Guerlain's spring collection for this year is quite extensive and full of pretty things. It is not exactly what I hoped for but it is a beautiful and well-balanced collection that many people would find pleasing. 

For Valentine's Day 2025, Tom Ford presents another rose perfume, "Rose Exposed" and of course, a corresponding makeup collection. Rose Exposed is supposedly a secret re-release of the discontinued Rose Russie. Honestly, the bottle is the prettiest I've seen from Tom Ford, but a leathery rose isn't exactly my thing. On the other hand, this rose-theme makeup collection is very much my thing!
