Romand Juicy Lasting Tint 03 Summerscent, 04 Dragon Pink, 07 FigFig

Romand Juicy Lasting Tint review swatches

Romand Juicy Lasting Tint is awesome - long-lasting, relatively non-drying, pretty, and affordable. I have been getting a lot of use out of them lately but since I don't have any FOTD yet, I will just show you some swatches today. There are currently 13 shades available in the Juicy Lasting Tint line and only 5 of them seem to suit people with cool undertones. I picked up 3 of the cool-toned colors - SummerScent, Dragon Pink, and FigFig

I can't say the packaging looks high-end (although very practical) and it is scented with the familiar fruity-floral like many other Kbeauty lip tints. Compare to Romand Glasting Water Tint (recently reviewed here), Juicy Lasting Tint is more of a traditional gel tint in terms of finish and consistency. But, it is one of the best that I have tried in the same price range and quite comparable to my higher-end fave, Yves Saint Laurent Water Stain.

The initial finish is wet and juicy but it's nowhere near the "glassy" finish of its sister Glasting Water Tint. It settles down to a semi-wet finish with a balmy feeling. Between the two, I actually find Juicy Lasting Tint more comfortable on the lips. It wears out quite evenly, which means that it is easy to retouch as you go (I love the YSL water tints so much for the same reason and they deserve a separate post).

Romand Juicy Lasting Tint swatches - Figfig, Summerscent, Dragon Pink
06 FigFig is a muted cool rose(a fig, excuse me) and an MLBB shade for cool-toned folks. This is a very popular shade and got sold out many times over. (07 Jujube is the equivalent for warmer complexions and similarily popular, FYI.)
03 Summerscent looks rather neutral but definitely has a clear pink undertone. Surprisingly, this is the shade that looks best on me. It's a youthful and brightening red.
04 Dragon Pink is a hot magenta pink that you can find in any Korean lip tint lineup. I happen to like these gaudy pinks but didn't expect Dragon Pink to be anything special. It looks better than others that I experienced, though! I don't know how to explain but there is a bit more depth to the color..? I like it a lot.

This was a very satisfying purchase and made me want more colors from the range. I will probably get Cherry Bomb (a deep smoky red) and Pink Pumpkin (a lovely muted medium pink) next time. If you like warm brownish lip colors for yourself, you will find more than a few from this range as well.

Thanks for being here. Hope everyone is staying healthy and safe!

  1. I got one of these from Ume Cosme ktown (I Initially really like the coral but I was afraid it turning bright pink stainon me) so I went with nudy peanut...it looks nutty Orange but it's a bright coral that doesn't turn clownish on me...I was surprised it actually moisturized my lips too. I was so impressed and went ahead and ordered a matte tint online...

    1. I've been reading Kbloggers' reviews on various Romand products. It seems Romand powder stuff gets mixed reviews but lippies are consistently raved especially for the colors. Which matte tint did you get? I want to try both Zero Velvet & See-through Matte.

  2. Now I am lemming Fig Fig and the red one...

    1. Both colors deepen a little bit but they don't turn weird. Summerscent becomes a bit cooler once set, though. Ruby Red looks really pretty but I passed because warm reds don't look all that nice on me...

  3. I'm definitely more of a balm type lip tint wearer rather than gloss. I love Figfig and summerscent!
