Review, Swatch - Revlon ColorBurst Lipgloss

This is an edited post.
I posted this a while ago but I just noticed the lip swatch pics are quite terrible.
Now it has been almost a year since I started this blog and I have gotten a little better at taking swatch pictures and capturing colors. so I thought I would do editing on some older posts.

Not everything edited would appear as new posts, but I wanted to feature this again since I find the texture and the color payoffs of this lipgloss line is quite perfect for the New York autumn. :)

Revlon ColorBurst Lipgloss in
Rosegold, Crystal Lilac, Peony  (clockwise)

*Revlon says
Lips that shine with killer color. This weightless gloss makes lips pop with 5X more shine than patent leather
(from Revlon website)

*My thoughts
I really enjoy these lipglosses.
However, would I buy more of these and get obsessed like I previously did with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipglosses? Probably not.
They come in unique wearable colors and I love how they feel so comfortable on my lips where Super Lustrous ones peel sometimes.
Other than that, I still prefer Super Lustrous in every aspect - the shorter tube, the shape of applicator, the variety of colors, the finish, etc
Although they are great quality lipgloss range for the price, they are not killer colors  nor shine they 5X more than patent leather.  (I think I am allergic to any exaggerated number claim...-.-;;)
I think Revlon should have marketed these as moisturizing lip creme since they go on smoothly and the colors seem to be pigmented in general.

*Swatches

Crystal Lilac
Pale baby pink with violet shimmer
It works great with super smoked eyes.

Peony
Peachy pink with gold glitters
On me, the pink color comes out more which makes it more wearable for me.
This color looks very nice paired with golden pink blushes like Nars Orgasm and her dupes.

Rosegold
Pigmented gold beige packed with shimmer
It is a very versatile and office-appropriate color that would work for any skin tone.

Have you tried this range?
What is your favorite color? :)
