Let me continue with the newly revamped Dior 5 Couleurs eyeshadow palettes. Today, I would like to show you the most unique beauty in my collection, Jungle (579)!
What can I say? The bold color story is so unique. It's just "Dior".
The shimmery peach is gorgeous, the golden olive so special, and the matte black is most unique with dark forest green undertones. The middle shade is actually very cold earthy brown which probably anchors everything down for a sophisticated wearable look.
Here are some overall looks with Dior 5 Couleurs Jungle (579). Granted this isn't my everyday palette (I just can't) but I really love these colors to bits.
Makeup items used in this look:
Stellar Limitless Foundation (L02)
Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer (SC-2)
Dear Dahlia Soft Focus Shine Control Powder
Dior 5 Couleurs Jungle (579)
NARS Orgasm Blush
Suqqu Moisture Rich Lipstick (05 Hikaribana)
Essence Lash Princess Mascara WP

I like that the khaki gold has some clarity to it! This kind of shade is perfect for late summer to fall...
ReplyDeleteI am totally with you on this. The khaki gold is my favorite color here although others are all beautiful as well! It's a great one and done shade. :)
DeleteIt's beautiful! I love the peach and olive shades together. Love the look you did with it too!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Each color is so beautiful but they are so easy to use together. I tried all 5 here but applying 2-3 shades at a time works nicely as well. :)
DeleteYou always pick out the prettiest shades, looks really good on you Lena! Id love you see you palette collection.
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks, Steph! I do have many eyeshadow palettes mainly quads & quints. I don't think I have many large palettes, though. I just started showcasing them in group on Instagram. :D
DeleteWow, the colours look great on you. I'd never know how to wear an olive green eyeshadow, but you make it work. I'm also a massive fan of the black with the dark green undertone, it is so unique and I think it softens the black and makes it a bit more wearable.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your reply to my comment on one of your earlier posts :). I did freshen up my blog a bit. I've been thinking about it for a long time and knowing I needed to post, but I just didn't have anything to post about. I guess it happens to us all in lockdown!
Hi, Sarah! Thanks so much! The olive green in this quint is exceptionally pretty because it has some clarity to it. I also like it as a one-and-done shade.
DeleteI am glad that you have resumed blogging! I myself am being quite lazy here but have been posting more consistently on Instagram. I wanna catch up on the blog, though! ;D
I said it on Instagram and I repeat it, I think this palette is perfect for New Year's makeup! I love the colors
ReplyDeleteThanks again!! Most of the new Dior quints include these festive toppers and shimmery shades that they all make pretty good selections for the holidays, I think! :D
