2aN Dual Cheek & Lip Magnet

2aN Dual Cheek, Lip Magnet review swatches

Today I have two more makeup items from 2aN to show you. 2aN Dual Cheek Cotton Candy Violet is the color that I had been interested in for quite some time so I ordered it from itzyuz about a month ago (Seriously, this is rapidly becoming my fave online place to shop). The Lip Magnet Relaxed Red was kindly included as a gift in my order.

2aN Dual Cheek ($18, itzyuz) Cotton Candy Violet is a shimmer-free blush combo of very bright cool pink and pale lavender. Colors like these are almost impossible to find in the Western market, and even in the KBeauty world where pastel blushes are abundant, it is difficult to find quality ones with finely milled formula with virtually zero powder kick-ups. The 2aN blush hit the nail right on the head. The color and texture are just perfect!

The pale pink is obviously a highlighter shade but it is unique in my collection due to the matte finish. The violet shade isn't necessarily visible when applied even on a light complexion, it is a sort of color that makes your skin clear and more refined. I am absolutely loving it.

I have a few other light pink/ pale lavender blushes so I made some comparison swatches.

As you see, 2aN Cotton Candy Violet is quite close to A'pieu Pastel Blusher VL03, which is another very pale lavender shade. The A'pieu is actually quite good for its affordable price, but unfortunately, this nice color has been discontinued. I would say the 2aN is an upgrade and a very good alternative if you are a fan of the A'pieu.

I also compared the pale pink shade in the 2aN blush to Clinique Cheek Pop Ballerina Pop

I am pleasantly surprised by 2aN Lip Magnet ($16, itzyuz). It is a pigmented liquid lip color with a semi-matte finish. It is very easy to control the color intensity. You can easily wear it in full strength or lightly for a softly stained look. The formula feels light and adheres to the lips very well so it doesn't feel dry while being long-lasting. The Relaxed Red is a muted neutral red that would flatter many different complexions.

This is a full-color swatch but I am wearing it as a stain in this post.

So far, my experience with 2aN makeups has been overwhelmingly positive. Some of you know that I have become a big fan of 2aN Gleaming Tension Pact (reviewed) and I am still enjoying it on a daily basis. I will certainly try some more from the brand.

Thanks for being here. Are you into pale lavender blushes like I am?

*The blush was purchased by me. The lip color was gifted by itzyuz with no review obligation. As always, all words and opinions are my own.

  1. I have quite a cool skin tone but I don't often wear lavender blushes, I am not sure why. I think it is because I have freckles so cooler blushes often look jarring against them. #

Having said that, like that Cotton Candy Violet is an unusual shade, much more interesting than the neutral pinks I seem to have in my collection :).

    1. Hi, Sarah!!!!! <3 I am so glad to see you comment here. I just went to visit your site and it looks like it's had a fresh makeover! Very nice! I hope you're back posting more often like before, and I hope you're doing well.

I have lots of freckles but these colors don't really accentuate them. If any, they actually blur the complexion and make it look nicer. I think it's also the quality of the powder..I am eyeing on one more shade from the same range. I will report back if the quality is consistent! :)
