I was looking for an easy everyday pink blush when I included Gracilis in my Rouge Bunny Rouge haul back in August, but it turned out to be so much more than that.
(I don't know what I was thinking. An easy pink? Like I don't have enough of that already...)

Often I feel the need of amping up the whole makeup look whenever I try to wear the color/circle lenses with more dramatic designs.
I usually balance them with darker smokey eyes or even with false eye lashes, but I thought liquid eye liner could be another option.
I did not want to spend much on something I would not use everyday so I decided to try a drugstore liquid eyeliner with good reputation.

No, I did not fall off the wagon.
This was purchased before I went on the lippie ban (and I have a few more stashed cause...you know).
Let me tell you.
Having a drugstore located right downstairs (and another one across the street) is a very convenient (difficult) situation for a beauty addict like me.
This was another impulse buy when I innocently went downstairs to grab some water. Of course, I had to go through the cosmetic aisles (which is on the opposite side of the water section).
My eyes sometimes work like the hawk's, I immediately noticed these were new although the tubes looked just like the other Super Lustrous lipsticks.

It was a very busy summer for me although I did manage to get away for a sweet vacation.
It was not a terribly hot summer, either. I did not get to wear all my summer dresses, is one proof of that(?).
Once I flip over my closet for sweaters and boots (and purchase a couple more coats), I know I will be alright.
The truth is I am still reminiscing about the summer, though.
This would be another example of my "Green Frog (a Korean folktale character - often used to describe someone who does everything the opposite)" personality, I had to bring out the most summer-esque eyeshadow colors when others are busy sporting deep autumn shades.
(Oh, I will get to them eventually. Just give me some time..)
I haven't done a nail post in a while and I admit I haven't felt passionate about nail colors lately.
Busy and Irregular schedule often makes me neglect the required grooming and polishing.
(Dr. Niles Crane from the show "Fraiser" once said, "Grooming requires small consistent efforts", which we all should abide by...)
I still get my monthly pedicures and polish changes in between, but I have been wearing nudes on my tips just because it is easier not to think about them.
It is a bank holiday here in the U.S., and I had a bit of time (although I have to go to work later on) to do my nails.
Revlon All Fired Up seemed to be the perfect thing that would rekindle my passion for nail colors.
Such a vibrant classic red.
Many of you know I love lip colors in general and enjoy talking about them here on my blog.
The truth to be told, I don't really "use" them as much as I like them.
I wear some sort of lip color everyday but throughout the day, I don't usually reapply it more than once.
This is why I have not used up any lippie in a while. (Ah, plus I keep buying more..)
So, I have decided to go on a "lippie ban" for a while until I showcase every color I own, starting a new series - Lippie Library.
This would be like building a reference book for me reminding myself that I have more than enough.
Hopefully I would be providing better swatches and occasional overall looks to help you to make an informed decision as well.
A Chanel would be a nice start off on a new series, although this is a rather typical pink lipstick to be honest.
Nudy series is one of the classics from GEO and famous for its striking effects.
I remember being curious about Nudy and even considered purchasing it, but I guess I passed on while I was developing my circle lens preference leaning towards more natural looking ones.
When I was offered to try some of their products from AngelContacts, I was happy to see this particular design thinking this would be perfect for my halloween this year.
Sidetracked as usual, I must tell you I have never dressed up for the halloween, ever.
I lived in South Korea until I graduated from the university, and we didn't celebrate this holiday back then. (Now I heard little kids dress up and go getting candies in Korea, too.)
Or being a performance major, I have had many opportunities to wear costumes and wigs so maybe I didn't really feel the need to do so on another occasion. GEO Nudy Grey is kinda perfect for me to still get into the holiday spirit since it comes with tons of dramas without having to scare anyone.
(Speaking of halloween, I've just noticed AngelContacts is having a sale. You can get 10% off with the code "BOO". They also offer special FX lenses.)
Rouge Bunny Rouge Glassy Gloss Fleur Parfait is probably the prettiest mauve pink I have encountered.
However, I didn't fall in love with it immediately. I even sent it to my Blog Sale page for a while.
It is because of its rich creamy texture and great color payoffs (yes, all the great qualities!).
Sounds weird, right?
I guess I was looking for something sheer with lighter feel back then cause the weather was much warmer when I purchased it.
Time flies and I am rediscovering this lip gloss all over again as the autumn deepens around us.
Fickle you may say, but I have retrieved it from the sale pile and now I think this is the most gorgeous thing ever. ;)

(All Rouge Bunny Rouge products have some sort of "secondary" names. Why is that? I want to know.)
I was fortunate to be given an opportunity to try a couple of core products from the skincare range of obiqo. I did not know much about the brand since it is from New Zealand, but I was intrigued to try this range after reading about the brand and the concept behind it. Intensive Facial Serum and Restoring Night Cream were my choice (it was very considerate of them to let me pick the products, btw.) since I usually like no-fuss skincare items and facial serum and night time moisturizer are very easy to incorporate into my daily regimen.
They probably deserve individual blog posts.
However, I am still swamped with work most of days and struggling to find time to blog more.
Between the usual Reviews/FOTDs and occasional PR posts, chance is that I may never get to talk about these.
I guess I am still trying to do something about them rather than aiming for the unrealistic - detailed blog posts on each of them.
