Some of you may know that I am quite partial to quads and quints when it comes to eyeshadows, but what can I say? The new Viseart Cashmerie Étendu ($44, Beautylish) made my heart sing! It is just such a wonderful combination of a beautiful color story and superb formulation. This palette is like the essential compact version of Natasha Denona's Glam and Retro palettes but in the lovely Viseart formulation.
The overall tone is neutral leaning slightly cool but there are a few warm shades as well. I also like that there are rose and cranberry colors for a romantic look. There is one shimmer that feels harder than others, but all mattes, shimmers, and metallics are pigmented and swatch beautifully.
The colors are very cohesive and foolproof. I have tried a couple of different looks utilizing 3-4 shades at a time and I can easily achieve beautiful and sophisticated eye looks. Viseart formulation is very soft and not without some powder kickups so it did take me a bit to really appreciate it, but I think I am finally understanding the charm of Viseart eyeshadows! I also think my Sonia G Pro Eye Set brushes work really nicely with this palette.
Now, an overall look with Viseart Cashmerie Étendu:

I have purchased more than a few holiday collections this year but Viseart Cashmerie Etendu is probably one of my favorites. The quality is just so good and it is priced right. If you are new to Viseart eyeshadows, I believe this is a nice place to start! I also bought Violette Etendu and hope to show this beauty soon on the blog.
Thanks for being here. Have you tried Viseart eyeshadows? What do you think of the new Étendu palettes?
