I am a little late to show you this beauty from Viseart Paris. I have been always interested in Viseart eyeshadows since they are raved by some of my favorite beauty bloggers, but Petits Fours Lilas was the one that called my name. The color composition is so beautiful and easy to use!
One of the reasons why it took so long for me to purchase my first eyeshadow palette from Viseart was that I didn't exactly like their plastic packaging. Some of you know that I prefer smaller palettes like quads or quints and the majority of Viseart palettes are full-sized ones. This time around, Viseart brought out 4 delectable quads in the cute magnetic case and I could resist no longer.
I mean, look at these colors.
(From Viseart website)
Fondant - Iced silver rose with a shimmer finish
Lilas - Light muted mauve with a matte finish
Tiramisu - Light cool taupe with a matte finish
Argentée - Silver with a shimmer finish

The color story is not something you see often from the Western brands' offerings. The muted matte pastels remind me of those Korean eyeshadow palettes but not quite the same. If you like cool-toned eyeshadows that you can wear day after day, Viseart Lilas is just perfect for you.
I do think that Viseart eyeshadow formulations can be easily misunderstood, though. I myself had to try a few times with different tools and techniques to figure it out. Once I did, I fell in love. I think the shimmery shades have such an elegant texture and I am impressed by the color integrity of the mattes. The key is not to over blend the colors. A packer brush can come in handy with these eyeshadows.
Here is my makeup look with Lilas.
In this look, I used the two shimmery shades as main over a tacky primer for more oomphs, but you can totally use the mattes as main for a muted sophisticated look. Lilas is a truly versatile palette!
