Dear Dahlia Spring Bouquet palette makeup look

I didn't wait too long to put my new Dear Dahlia makeup into work. As I expected, everything performed really nicely. I find it even more impressive because I know pastel shades that actually look great on the complexion are rare to come by. To be honest, this is not the makeup style I usually go for, but I am starting to think that might change now that I have excellent quality milky pastels in my collection.

Dear Dahlia Spring Bouquet Palette makeup look review

The eyeshadows in Spring Bouquet Palette are not the ones that are super pigmented but maintain the color clarity all day without creasing. The shimmery toppers are multi-dimensional and stay on without irritating my eyes!

The blush reminds me of Clinique Cheek Pop Pansy Pop but it appears slightly pinker on the skin and the finish is more powdery compared to Pansy Pop. I love it.

The pressed powder is surprisingly nice and perfect to set the foundation and brighten the complexion.

I am a bit underwhelmed by the lipstick shade because it's not the most unique pink but no doubt this creamy mauvy pink is feminine and pretty. The lipstick itself is great being hydrating and quite pigmented especially for its glossy nature.

I added the lip treatment on top of the lipstick but I can see myself wearing it alone. The shimmer is so pretty and it feels nourishing on the lips.

  1. I really like how the lip Treatment looks! Well I like most clear gloss so...And I think I have Becca prismatic Amethyst somewhere in my apartment, need to dig it out.

    1. I think you'd enjoy this lip treatment! It has a medium weight not too sticky nor too slippery. The applicator is slightly flexible that it's a pleasure to use. I wouldn't have bought it for $32, though. LOL. Becca Prismatic Amethyst is still my favorite highlighter. I am glad they made it permanant. :)

  2. $32 Eeek...You can get suqqu/Lunasol/Celvoke for that price...I was wrong to assume it similar price point as Fenty.

    1. Haha. Suqqu lip gloss is only $26 on Selfridges. Then again, Dear Dahlia is a department store brand and the quality is as good as any other higher ends. ;p

  3. Love the bit of shine the lip treatment adds! I've been loving a glossy lip lately!

    1. I would be wearing glossy lips exclusively if not for having to wear masks often. Mask wearing is a priority over my lippie preference, of course. :)
