Suqqu Pure Color Blush 06 Harusumire

Oh my, I just realized that the last time when I reviewed a blush on this blog was more than 2 years ago. I guess I buy fewer blushes compared to eyeshadows and lipsticks but I do have some new ones in my collection. Suqqu Pure Color Blush Harusumire (06) is one of the recent additions and my current go-to!

Harusumire is probably the coolest shade from the Suqqu blush lineup. It is a cool light pink with a pale lavender highlighting color.

There is this very fine shimmer that is only visible under bright sunlight but the overall finish of Harusumire is satin with a subtle sheen. I have two other Suqqu blushes and compared to them, Harusumire feels a bit more compressed and colors appear sheerer. It doesn't require any special brush or skill. I can even use the small brush included and the finish is still impeccable (actually, the brush is good quality). The color always shows up clearly without being too much.

The deepest color has a tiny bit of raspberry undertones and can create beautifully flushed cheeks when used alone. The middle part is where I usually go for a sheer wash of pink, and the highlighting color can be used pretty much all over to refine the complexion.

Here is an overall look with Suqqu Harusumire.

Suqqu Pure Color Blushes are amazing! I think the beautiful refined texture and finish are what make them special. The price is more than reasonable for such high-quality blush, in my opinion. Suqqu Pure Color Blushes are available on Selfridges ($36) and Harrods ($37).

Thanks for being here. Have you tried Suqqu Pure Color Blush? What are some of your go-to blush colors?

    1. Suqqu blush formulation is as good as it gets, imo. I resisted the brand for so long because the marketing is quite annoying to be honest (only the big influencers get the ful sets and the rest of us can't even buy it because of the limited quantity!). But, what can I say? The quality and aesthetics are consistently satisfying! :)

  2. Harusumire is really pretty on you Lena! I like how it almost has a gradient, so you can choose the deeper shade or use it more as a highlight (or mix both). I'm a blush fiend so naturally I'd gravitate towards the deeper side! xo

    1. Harusumire is most subtle out of the bunch. I think you'd really like Suqqu blushes! And, lucky for you, you can always purchase Suqqu from Selfridges or Harrods without having to paying for huge markups (I have Selfridges + service so I can order unlimitedly for one year, but still it hurts. ;p)
