KLENSPOP | Sio 3 Color Lizzy Mocha

KLENSPOP Sio 3 Color Lizzy Mocha has the same composition as Lizzy Blue which I reviewed not too long ago. The effect is calmer on my eyes since the main color is a chocolaty brown.
Lizzy Mocha isn't a typical pair of brown circle lenses, though. This is a pair that does both defining and brightening with an interesting color twist. The end result is subtly sexy, if you will.

Sio 3 Color Lizzy Mocha
Diameter : 14.2mm
Graphic Diameter : 13.6mm
Base Curve : 8.7mm
Using Period : 6 months
Water Content : 45%
Manufacturer : Belmore
Origin : Korea

As you see in the close-up pictures, the inner patterns show up in a glistening gray color on my eyes, which I find so unique. This brings an extra dimension while blending in with my natural eye color very nicely. It would have looked more artificial otherwise since Lizzy Mocha has defined limbal rings and is bigger in graphic diameter.

Indirect natural lighting

Soft box lighting (with makeup on)
Sio 3 Color Lizzy Mocha is a naturally defining and unique pair of brown circle lenses. I love them.

Here is an overall look with Lizzy Mocha.

Oh, and the comfort level is right up there with other silicone hydrogel lenses I've tried from KLENSPOP.
(I have been proselytizing silicone hydrogel lenses to anyone who wears contacts lately. The material feels a bit rigid and they generally cost more, but the difference in focus and comfort is night and day.)

Thanks for reading!
I used to think circle lenses with more dramatic effects demand amplified makeup pairings, but for some reason simple eye makeup looks much better with the Lizzy series. This has shorten my morning routine by much, so of course I'm not complaining.

  3. This looks really nice! It's interesting to see how the color changes in different lighting. I never thought of that before!

    1. Thanks!
Almost all color contacts change colors under different lightings. The idea is to find something that's flattering in any light, I guess. :)

  4. I said before I have dry eyes, right? I'm so jealous because I can't wear contacts anymore. I've been wanting to try some just for fun. Ah well *kicks the bin nearby* Darnnit!

    1. Luckily, my eyes are still quite watery(? knock on wood) but it's been over 10 years now that I'm sure my eyes are tired. That's why I am so happy to have found some silicone hydrogel. The other day I was wearing something else and it wasn't good. ;-/
Anyway, maybe some dailies made with silicone hydrogel will suit for you if you're just wearing them once in a while for fun. ;)

    2. I wore contacts since I was 13, and then I had LASIK about 8 or 9 years ago. I think that dried out my eyes. I tried some dailies a couple of years back but they stung. So I just stayed off them.

    3. I see. I didn't know LASIK has a side effect like that!
I have no problem with dailies in general but conventional hydrogel ones are not all that great except for the fact you can just discard them at the end of the day. And I could clearly feel dailies made of silicone hydrogel are different.
(LOL. I sound like an evangelist + broken record here. ;p)

    1. Eeeeh! I'm so excited for you! I even switched my clear dailies as well. What I didn't know is that something like Acuvu Oasis is a kind of silicone hydrogel lenses. No wonder they feel so comfortable. :)

  6. They look amazing on you sweetie :)
I have wanted to try lenses for quite some time but I have this HUGE phobia when it comes to putting them on... rather weird since I poke around my eye quite a lot when putting on eyeliner etc but the though of putting something directly ON my eye freaks me out :D

    1. Thank you very much!
I think many people feel the same way. The thing is putting in contact lenses is more like a "sliding in" action rather than poking (that would be scary). It also has a lot to do with how moist your eyes stay naturally. I wear color/circle contacts quite often but I've never had a problem. Knock on wood. :)
