Review, Swatch - NEW Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss Super Natural

Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss is probably the first thing that ignited my love for drugstore makeup.
I remember the old version of the Super Lustrous Lipgloss (with the rectangular body) was introduced around the time the Estee Lauder Pure Gloss came out, and I was struck by the similarities, both in the packaging and the performance.
For a long time, I had shameless collected so many of them. I would hunt down for the LEs hopping from one drugstore to another.
I also gifted many of them to my friends proselytizing for my new found faith.
Although I slowly grew out of them as my lipgloss phase is behind me, the Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss will always have a place in my makeup heart.

Revlon revamped this range a while ago, repackaging it in the taller and round tube as well as introducing twelve new shades.
Some of them remind me of the great classic shades, and the Super Natural is one of them.

NEW Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss Super Natural

At first I thought Revlon only changed the packaging (the new one rolls. GREAT;) and tuned the color range a little bit.
Judging by the two I picked up (yes, there will be another post), new version seems to have the same consistency - the non-sticky formula with lots of shine.
It even smells the same (light vanilla-y scent) and the doe foot applicator is identical, too.

Super Natural is like the better reincarnation of the famous Nude Lustre for me.
I believe the Nude Lustre was more peach and yellow also with shimmer, which tends to make me look pale and lackluster.
Super Natural has a great balance between pink and peach, but I also see some mauve and beige thrown in this color as well.

The result is a glossy "My Lips But Better" look that doesn't wash me out.

Due to the semi-sheer formula, I believe this color will suit many different lips and complexions.
It is very moisturizing and non-irritating, which I actually see as a great improvement since the old formula sometimes makes my lips peel for some reason.
The wear time is about 2-3 hours which is not that super, but I don't mind reapplying it since it feels great and looks pretty on me.
Super Natural would be also great to top any natural colored lipstick to add shine and comfort.

Here is an overall look with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss Super Natural.
