L'Oreal True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup

This was a total impulse buy enabled by a huge sale going on at the moment.
I have been impressed by L'Oreal products lately and I "thought" I needed a new foundation with lighter finish.
(Of course, I need no such thing as "new foundation" since I have enough that would last me for years.)
Although impulse buys almost always turn out to be waste of money, I really really like this foundation and I have been wearing this daily since. (:o)

L'Oreal True Match
Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup
Porcelain (W 1-2)

It is never easy for me to find a perfect match from the drugstore foundation range.
For example, I love Revlon foundation but I always have to struggle for a close color match.
On the other hand, I find the original Color Match foundation range provides great options since they are grouped in three different tones, but I absolutely hated the finish and the wear of it.

This new addition to the same line claims to provide lightweight yet buildable coverage that is luminous. This is supposedly packed with 40% water, antioxidants and vitamin C so it is actually good for your skin as well.
(You can read more about the product HERE.)

N-1 color from the original True Match foundation was a perfect one for me, so I initially tried Soft Ivory (Classic Ivory, N 1-2).
This looked pretty nice on me but it was still a tad darker than my complexion.
Fortunately Porcelain (Light Ivory, W 1-2) color works nearly perfect for me.

These two colors don't look much different. I can't really tell them apart from the bottles, actually.
However, you can see the Soft Ivory is a bit darker and has more peachy tone to it.
(BTW, I don't know why they have two names each. Confusing!!)

I don't think this is for people with oily skin or for those who want more coverage, but I do believe it does pretty much everything of its claims.
The finish is luminous and looks flawless on which is surprisingly nice for a lightweight foundation.
It feels quite comfortable on and lasts on me all day if I apply it over my water resistant sunscreen/primer.

And it photographs very nicely!
The soft light box and the e.l.f. High Definition powder help a lot as well, but it is still nicer compared to other foundation or B.B. cream. :)

Here are a couple of overall looks with Lumi makeup.

I am wearing NEO Lucky Clover contacts in Grey color.
Lighter color contacts like these are fun to wear and look sophisticated but they could emphasize the flaws in complexion.
It was much better this time thanks to this light diffusing makeup.

(I should have combed my hair..)

This Lumi makeup got me interested in the primer from the same range as well.
It would be nice to incorporate with this foundation as the warmer weather approaches.

Have you tried this foundation?
Is it easy for you to find a good color match from the drugstore foundation range?
