Review - DeVita Solar Protective Moisturizer SPF 30+, Trader Joe's enrich Moisturizing Face Lotion SPF 15

I always make sure to put on moisturizer with sunscreen on my neck area.
(A woman's neck and hands reveal her true age!)
Sometimes my neck reacts more sensitive than my face to some ingredients, so I am always on the lookout for something mild yet effective.

I have recently found this moisturizer with sun protection from DeVita and I have been happily using this everyday on my neck.

Yes, I am going to talk about the Trader Joe's lotion as well later on, but let's cover the DeVita one first. ;)

I never heard of this brand before I bought this moisturizer.
I chose this solely based on the ingredients and its reasonable price.
Let me tell you that paying under $15 for a 2.5 oz tube with 19% zinc oxide is a pretty good deal.
I was sold on the fact that this is paraben free and 100% vegan as well.

As you see, the ingredients list is quite simple and packed with nice ones.
It is also safe for children.

I have used this on my face and it works well under makeup, but I mainly use this on my neck every morning.
It is moisturizing but absorbs in quite nicely so it feels never greasy.
This moisturizer is not scented but has a mild (and the usual) smell of something with zinc oxide which fades away instantly.
I am completely satisfied with this and I plan to keep purchasing this.
(I got mine from vitacost.com (not affiliated).)

Before I talk about the TJ lotion, I must rant about the reformulated Olay Complete moisturizer for sensitive skin (SPF15).
The old formula had been my staple for many years. I used to put this on everywhere, on my neck, face and my whole body!
Sadly (and stupidly), Olay changed its formula with avobenzone in May of 2009, and I never bought anything from Olay ever since. (Yes, I was pissed.)
I don't know what they were thinking putting avobenzone in a product designed for sensitive skin!
(Avobenzone may cover broader spectrum, but it is very very unstable not to mention it is an eye irritant. It can react negatively to some common ingredients found in base makeup as well. And I hate the smell..)

So, imagine how happy and surprised I was to spot this TJ version of the old Olay lotion!
It has the same old active ingredients and even the bottle looks like the Olay one.
And it is way cheaper! ($3.99 for 4 oz bottle)

I have been using this on my arms and hands a lot lately.
I would need something more moisturizing when the weather gets colder, but it works fine so far.

Thanks for reading this text heavy post today. :)
Do you use moisturizer with sunscreen on you neck?
Are you particular about the active ingredients in sunscreens like I am?
