I don't even know when Red My Mind! came out or which collection it belongs to.
I mean the application brush is not even "Prowide" (the dreadful!) and I am sure this is not Big 3 free. (It applies like a dream!!!)
Thank God nail polish is a type of paint, it will keep virtually forever if you are equipped with good thinner and store it properly. :)
This is a very happy red.
Definitely orange based but with subtle pink shimmer, it manages to look fine against my skin tone.
(and thanks to the subtlety, it stopped right before gaudiness.)
I am not buying OPI polishes any more since they lost their unique quality in colors and I am personally so sick of those ridiculous polish names (Suzi, you need to stop putting your name in every collection!), but I will cherish this color for a long time.
It is yet another proof that OPI was once great.
It's a really vibrant red. Looks beautiful on you. I've never been fond of OPI polishes for some reason. You're right about those ridiculous names! Their word plays never sound cute.
ReplyDeletelove that colour! reminds me of fresh strawberrys and summer, lol :)
ReplyDeleteso sad that OPI lost their quality. I always wanted to buy some but now that I hear so many bad things I lost the will to spend so much money on one colour that has the same quality like cheap ones that cost 1/4 of it. (OPI is rly expensive in germany-.-) oh you're so right I find so many of their names ridiculous xD
I love this colour on you! We dont have much access to Opi polishes here and when we do its ridiculously overpriced. Keep this one, it lovely!
ReplyDeletelove the color and the way you do your manicure! so neat :) xx
ReplyDeleteit's absolutely nice color! and your nails are soooooo good!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful red! I was addicted to OPI for a while but lately have been switching to other brands to try out.
ReplyDeleteI can see that the quality is much better than cheap make up. It's bright and shiny. Plus the color is pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love how this looks on you! Strangely enough I still love OPI. I've been going back to the older part of my collection (almost exclusively OPI), and I was reminded of a) how well the brush works and b) how perfect the consistency is (and mine are all big-3 free). I've moved to other brands for the colors, but the pro-wide brush is hard to break up with!
ReplyDeleteindeed its a happy red...lovely nails color...=)
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous color!!!
ReplyDeletethanks! :)
ReplyDeletei think i visit this color once a year or so. not an everyday color but still very lovely. :)
ReplyDeletethanks. :D
ReplyDeleteno, it's not strange. maybe you find more flattering colors from OPI. i know Prowide brush is love or hate. it just doesn't work with my nail shape and i often end up with wonky brushes. lol
the finish is quite unique, it reminds me of hard candy. :)
ReplyDeleteold OPI collections like France, Russian were really awesome and i still have great respect for them.
ReplyDeletenowadays they seem to lack brilliance of the old days. i'd rather spend my money on zoya or butter london.
heh heh thanks! :D
ReplyDeletei admit humbly i am pretty good at painting nails but recently i've found out i am only good with my nails. how selfish is that? ;p
ReplyDeleteah if they are overpriced, they are definitely not worth it.
ReplyDeletei can actually get them under $5 through some friends but i still don't do it if you know what i mean. ;)
ooh i love your description. strawberries and summer! i like it. ;)
ReplyDeletethe catrice color you showed us on your blog is fantastic!
OPI is not worth the hyped price if you ask me.
those names are so blah! :-/
yeah. i'd pick essie or zoya any day. ;p
ReplyDeletenowadays name playing is common in cosmetic industry or so it seems, but i think OPI ones are quite nauseating(?). ;p
Pretty color! You paint your nails very well. Teach me! hehe
ReplyDeleteMary
I love that slight shimmer in there! I do have some OPI polishes from before they became 3 free and introduced the new pro-wide brush.. I honestly like the new brushes more! But I find the application is definitely different. The old bottles I have are a thinner consistency and don't dry out as easily.
ReplyDeletewell now polishes apply and keep better even though they are big 3 free. i mean companies don't have a choice but to improve the formula. lol
ReplyDeleteyou're lucky the new brush work for you. if only that was the case for me! ;)
lol :)
ReplyDeletei am just used to painting my own nails. i was crazay about nail polishes before and changed colors daily. tips and toes. ;p
The color looks amazing against your skin! Beautiful!!! xx
ReplyDeletethank you, Amy! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome red! Reminds me of red beautiful poppies. It's definitely a keeper Lena.

How do apply nail polish so perfect?? Love the color on you!
ReplyDeletethanks, Anel
ReplyDeletei guess repeated paintings on my own nails have improved my skills a bit. lol
also, good top coat usually evens out minor flaws. :)
i love poppies.
ReplyDeletenow i wish this color was named "poppies", then i'd love it even more. :)
lol at the suzi comment!! i love this color on you its such a juicy shade lol reminds me of punch and happy brights
ReplyDeleteseriously, she needs to stop. too egotistical it is not even cute. -_-+
ReplyDeletei agree. this red is quite spring summer appropriate. :)
that's a brilliant shade of red!
ReplyDeleteit is quite unique. :)
ReplyDeletethanks!
