Hence the revisitation on Essie Bobbing For Baubles. ;)
Essie Bobbing for Baubles
Or let's just say I chopped my nails short and dark colors like this is the best choice.
I will feature some spring color in my next NOTD post.
Promise. :)
a beauty blog
I love blue on nails :) And yeah, I haven't been able to get into the spring nails yet, either. I've got matte black glitter on right now! Haha.
ReplyDeleteWheee this looks SO nice on you! I don't think I can do blue because I'm so warm-toned, but on you this color is puuuuurfect!
ReplyDeleteyay blue nails! it's a nice break from seeing all the bright spring colors everywhere. your nails look good in any shade
ReplyDeleteI really like this colour, it's so rich and deep. Mysterious!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color! I have tried blue but since I don't have steady hands, they turn out to be quite messy and took me a long time in fixing my mistakes.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really nice color!
ReplyDeleteWow this is such a nice shade! Very sophisticated.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I bought some elf customizable eye palettes--the one that you mentioned in a previous post. Omg, I love them! I put my MAC and some UD eyeshadows in the palettes. I probably wouldn't have even given them a try if it weren't for you. so THANK YOU! =)
OO soo pretty!! VERY shiny.. I love it!
ReplyDeleteSoooo pretty! I'm actually drawn to such colors nowadays.. :D
ReplyDeleteAh, this is such a unique colour! I really love it!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is different! I think Navy fits in well with a clean nautical theme which is also spring!
ReplyDeleteI actually like thise color A LOT - I know it is spring and mints and nudes are back but somehow I keep coming back to those dark tones.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great weekend my dear and that all is well, I know I haven't stopped by in a while!
This one's gorgeous, such a rich hue and lovely depth of colour. Looking forward
ReplyDeleteto your next nail post :)
No need for "Spring" color! Gorgeous blues are good all the time :)
ReplyDeleteThat blue looks awesome on you Lena! I love it. HAHAHA Girl you always do a great job with your nails. I finally used my skincare rx GC. Did you use yours?

I've been on some kind of blue obsession lately, too. I'm trying not to wear too much blue or else it'll be really obvious in the blog! LOVE this shade though. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteHi lena, this colour is beautiful but do you have a nail clean up tutorial somewhere? My nails do not look as perfect as yours. Send me the blog link if you did one before! Thanks
ReplyDeleteI love the color! Your nails always look so shiny! Is it the polish or a top coat..?
ReplyDeletei have this too! it's gorgeous. i think i've only used it once tho lol i own way too much np!!
ReplyDeletehaha yes, when my nails are shorter I definitely start liking my darker colours! or the unusual colours, because they look cuter on shorter nails. I love blue too- there's just so many gorgeous shades and there's always something for every seasons and outfit.
ReplyDeletea few years ago, i only wore black or nude. then i transitioned to grays, and finally colors, lol. but this is a gorgeous color and would be a great alternative to black.
ReplyDelete[oomph.]
there is very complex about this blue.
ReplyDeletei think this would be nice alternative for black, too! :)
my nails grow really fast, so i usually follow dark-medium-light color steps as my nails get longer. lol
ReplyDeletei can't wait to wear lighter blues in the coming season! :)
hahaha!
ReplyDeleteyeah..there are so many neglected colors in my nail polish box.
we should make efforts to have them in rotation somehow! ;p
thank you, Banny :)
ReplyDeleteessie creme shades are usually quite shiny, but i think it is the topcoat.
i used seche vite. :)
hey Naomi :)
ReplyDeletei don't have any tutorial for nail clean up. i did post some general nail care tips before. i will bring the link to your blog if it helps any. :)
lol
ReplyDeletei am glad i am not the only one! :D
i like this color alot, really! funny i wasn't so crazy about it when it first came out.
this one doesn't stain as much as other blue colors, which is a nice bonus.
thank you, Debi!
ReplyDelete"awesome" is the right word for this! :)
yup. i used it on the cargo makeup set plus i spent even more on the new skincare items. lol
ReplyDeletei think i am pretty good at painting nails. lol. problem is my skill only works on my own nails. my friends and sister complain about it. lolz
aww thank you! :)
ReplyDeletethank you.
ReplyDeletethere are good amount of grey and even green thrown in this color, which makes it so complex and beautiful, imho. ;)
hi Thu!
ReplyDeletehope you are doing well. ;)
it is so warm and nice in the nyc, i might just get out of this "blues", but it is a cool color, right? ;p
i agree! this is a different blue!
ReplyDeletei see grey and green in this as well.
it might have been okay if essie had introduced this in summer. ;)
thank you, Steph! :)
ReplyDeletereally? thanks! i am glad. ;D
ReplyDeletethanks, Eugenia! :)
ReplyDeletethank you, Eva :)
ReplyDeletei am so glad you like the elf palettes! :D
i am not very good with coordinating colors from individual pots..so this works for me great as well. :)
thank you, Katherine! :)
ReplyDeletethanks!
ReplyDeleteusually taking a shower after a couple hours seem to work for cleaning up. ;)
blue colors are tricky since they tend to stain cuticles a lot, though.
this is your kind of color. we both know it! :p
ReplyDeleteawww Jackie, thank you! :)
ReplyDeletethank you, Sunny!
ReplyDeletei have to disagree with you, though. i think this color would look awesome on you as well!
it is not a single toned blue..green and grey are in this color, too. ;)
lol
ReplyDeletethanks, Larie!
i am glad i am not this only one.
my coloring is almost winter..so this spring trends are hard for me to cope with! ;p
Pretty colour! I really love your nails! It's so neat and nicely shaped! >o<
ReplyDeleteGorgeous nail polish!!!!!
ReplyDeletevery modern color! and I love special, dark nail polish with a nice gloss on top :)!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beautiful shade. I love anything petrol blue in colour -really gorgeous. I love your nail shape!
ReplyDeleteI failed to pick up Bobbing for Baubles when it came out. I kind of regret it now as I realise I don't really have a dark navy creme polish.
ReplyDeleteHeh, I am happy to know that I have given you a lemming for Burning Black. My job here is done xD
burning black is a such a unique color and it looks really great on you! :)
ReplyDeletegood thing is that bobbing for baubles is not an LE, you can still get it. i think it even is avail in retail bottle. ;)
(see? enable for enable! ^-^)
thank you, Penelope!
ReplyDeletei have many differenct blue shades but i think this is something special. ;)
thank you. :)
ReplyDeletethis is such a posh but edgy color. i love it!
thank you, Lucy! :)
ReplyDeletethanks Aki!
ReplyDeleteyour nails are gorgeous. i know it! :D
I'm normally not a big fan of dark colors, but this is really pretty! I think it's weird how dark polishes always look better on short nails for some reason.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually wear darks - this one looks lovely on you, Lena!
ReplyDeletethank you, Andrea! :)
ReplyDeletethanks, Rinny!
ReplyDeletei always think it's all about balance.
sheer lighter colors do look better and longish nails.:)
The color is look glossy, I love it :D
ReplyDeletethanks!
ReplyDeleteit is one of my favorites. ;)
