There are many beautiful and unique holiday makeup collections from luxury brands this year, but if I have to choose just one collection, "The Dior Ball of Dreams" collection probably takes the cake. This is a hard pick because I think Chanel also did an amazing job and I personally have reached for the Chanel collection more often. However, Dior has collaborated with an artist and done special packaging and this collection ticks more boxes in terms of pleasing a wider range of people.

Dior certainly is not playing fair this year. I did expect to see the holiday makeup collection around mid-October but not in the middle of September! Maybe this is the preview of what is coming. I've seen some photos of the main part of this year's Dior holiday collection, and the Backstage part seems like a simpler and more playful version of it. There are 1 eyeshadow palette, 1 face glow palette, and 1 lip maximizer. The actual colors are more saturated and lively than the stock photos and I think that is a good thing in this case.
