Yves Saint Laurent Holiday 2023 Makeup Collection

Yves Saint Laurent Holiday 2023 Makeup Collection does not feature a new shade but comes with gorgeous and unique limited edition packaging. Luckily for me, I did not have these colors so I was very happy to grab a couple of pieces from the collection. There was a beautiful limited edition cushion highlighter in the same packaging, but that sold out almost immediately. 

Let's admire this beautiful packaging, shall we? The design reminds me of white marble. I love the matte white and gold combination!

YSL Couture Mini Clutch Eyeshadow Palette 910 Trocadero Nights ($68, YSL Beauty)

Trocadero Nights was introduced as a limited edition color with ongoing neutral shades from the line. It was only available at a few retailers and then kind of disappeared so I am glad to see this color story again with beautiful embossing and special packaging.

The overall tone is icy and glitzy but the creamy matte pink and the gold topper adds some balance to the color story. The silver in the quad is of exceptional quality - pigmented and super creamy. The light pink is also amazing, especially for a matte color. The shimmery black and the gold topper feel lighter and silkier compared to the other two.

YSL Cancy Glaze 002 Sweet Pink ($39, Sephora)

This is my first Candy Glaze! I have been always interested in the line because I like glossy lips but I also know that I don't love the citrus mango scent used in all YSL lipsticks with the round cases (on the other hand, I LOVE the boozy rose scent from the YSL lipsticks that come in the rectangular packaging). Sweet Pink shade is really easy to wear since it is basically a clear gloss in a stick form. I tolerate the scent but it feels really pampering on the lips and my lips do look and feel better after it wears off.
