TOM FORD Soleil Neige 2023 Makeup Collection

Soleil Neige is a sort of Holiday makeup collection from Tom Ford. Although I am not a big fan of the fragrance, this is one of my favorite makeup collections from the brand and I look forward to it every year. Last year's Soleil Neige collection was rather disappointing, but the 2023 Tom Ford Soleil Neige is simple, wearable, and gorgeous. It is probably one of the best holiday makeup collections offered in 2023 in my humble opinion.

As usual, this collection comes in a clean glossy white exterior with silver metal frames and logo. There are 3 repromoted lip gloss shades in the limited edition packaging but they are not out, yet. I am planning to purchase the Sunrise Pink shade once it is available.

Tom Ford Soleil Neige Eye Color Quad Lumière D'Hiver ($90, Sephora)

The Eye Color Quad, Lumière D'Hiver is a beautiful cool neutral palette. The color story is very intuitive and easy to wear. There are 2 mattes and 2 shimmer shades.

The matte shades are very finely milled and there are some powder kickups but they apply and blend beautifully. The shimmer shades are also of excellent quality. They may look a bit similar in the pans but the colors and the finishes differ once applied on the skin to create multi-dimensional looks.

The color structure of Lumière D'Hiver reminded me of the famous Metal Lust so I swatched them side by side. Definitely not dupes and the shimmer shades feel a little different as well but you can see the same idea manifested here in these quads. Lumière D'Hiver is like the lighthearted sister of Metal Lust. Both are so beautiful. If you missed out on Metal Lust, do check this new quad out!

Tom Ford Soleil Neige Glow Highlighter Rose Irisé ($90, Sephora)

There are 2 shades of limited edition highlighters available in this collection and of course, I chose the cool-toned shade, Rose Irisé. (The other shade Gran Paradis is also beautiful, by the way.) This is an amazing beauty and I could not recommend this enough.

We have seen some glittery highlighters for the holiday season but Tom Ford Rose Irisé has a very refined finish. The shine and glow are definitely there but it is understated and quite subtle. 

This almost feels like a hybrid of highlighter and finishing powder. I enjoy dusting this powder all over my cheeks and even on my T-zone for a brightening effect. You can clearly see the glow but it is never too much. Gotta love that!
