NOTD | Essie Gel Couture Rock The Runway

Essie Gel Couture Rock The Runway swatch

I have been quite consistent with my blogging lately but I don't know when was the last time I blogged 2 days in a row (wow, quarantine, you). So here you go again. A simple #NOTD post with fewer words. This week, I am wearing Essie Gel Couture Rock The Runway.

You guys probably know that I am a big fan of Essie Gel Couture Top Coat. It's usually priced around $10 but sometimes you can spot a great deal on a nail polish/topcoat set for the price for one. Which is how I ended up with Rock The Runway. It is a beautiful scarlet red but not exactly my favorite as I prefer blue reds. It looks more of an orange-tinged one under indoor lighting but appears more neutral under natural lighting. A good basic red to have in the wardrobe. I have no strong feelings about it, really.

Application and wear are all nice.

I hope you are having a nice week. Stay safe and healthy!

  2. Oooh, what a sexy and shiny red! I love the Essie Couture Gel formula quite a bit!

I know what you mean with the blogging more! I haven't blogged this much in over a year. I used to aim for 20 posts a month, but I just got too busy with work so I cut it down by half so I am enjoying this time to reconnect with my beauty space!

    1. I remember making fun of the twisted bottles when the line launched. LOL. But I have to say I am quite fond of them as well! (LOVE the topcoat and this is one of the few that works on Chanel polishes).

I was pretty bad in terms of consistent blogging and I still have so many photos waiting to be blogged. Some products end up being discontinued while I plan on them. ;p. I see how this blogging thing can be easily a full-time job. Even for hobby, it does take a lot of energy. I am enjoying it, though! :)

  3. I love the gel couture range, the finish is so glossy!

I'm trying to blog more in quarantine, I guess I'm trying to be constructive rather than staring at the walls or wandering around the house aimlessly xo

    1. I think many of the gel couture are similar to the original classics but with better wear and coverage, which is great! And, same for me as to blogging! Blogging does take a lot of time and energy but I am kind of happy that I am reconnecting myself to it. :)
