Everybody now talks about the new F/W collections, but here I am, talking about the summer makeup in September (what else is new, right?). I meant to review Suqqu Hikaribore sooner as it is one of my favorite makeup purchases in a while. Generally speaking, I gravitate more toward fall/winter colors and don't find too many summer makeups appealing but this pink smokey quad looked amazing to me.
The color combination is just beautiful. I think the star of this quad is the shimmery peachy pink (upper right). It works great as a main lid color but also looks so gorgeous worn under the lash lines. I love that the charcoal gray has a hint of green which looks even better against the pink hues. All colors go on silky and blend effortlessly. Both pink colors can be layered for more intensity but they never look chalky.
Here, I tried light smokey eyes with pink accents.

I guess I do look summery here thanks to the bleached hair, bronzer, and seashell earrings, but I definitely look forward to wearing these pretty colors in the coming months. I have tried a few more placements with Hikaribore and I can easily come up with flattering looks that are not bound to a particular season.
