Rouge Bunny Rouge Collector's Coffret | Fragrant Confections

Rouge Bunny Rouge Fragrant Confections Collector's Coffret review

I am not new to Rouge Bunny Rouge fragrance offerings, which is why I was even more delighted when this beautiful set landed on my doorstep. Rouge Bunny Rouge Fragrant Confections Collector's Coffret is perfect in every way especially if you are like me, finding yourself weary of most of the mainstream but puzzled by the niche market.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Fragrant Confections Collector's Coffret review

I adore the aesthetics of these bottles. Granted, the full-size bottles are even more beautiful and here we are talking about Rouge Bunny Rouge (they make the prettiest stuff out there, you know), but these bottles are not just pretty to look at. They are also sturdy and functional. Each is perfectly sized for travel and has a nice weight to the body equipped with a high-quality atomizer.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Vespers review

Vespers (notes) is a subtly spicy musk with an amazing balance between sweet woods and feminine florals. Essentially, it is a sexy skin scent that would make people around you wonder and think, "I don't know what it is but how lovely!". Vespers reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez for Her, yet it blooms much more elegantly on my skin and stays coherent throughout the day (not so much with the NR). I feel sexy yet focused when I wear Vespers. Humidity seems to bring out more of its beauty, which is why I love wearing this delicately seducing scent on a rainy day.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Tenera review

For me, Tenera (notes) is an exceptional vanilla. This seamlessly concocted scent is one of the very few vanillas that smell nice on me. Most vanilla based fragrances turn sour or fleet away within minutes. If I overdo hoping them to last longer on me, they often end up being cloying or give me headaches. I do not have to compromise when I wear Tenera, though! As I am writing this review, I can still smell it on me from yesterday's spritz. The dry-down of Tenera is smooth and delicious - I get mostly amber and a bit of leather that are not too serious thanks to the sweetness of vanilla. It's not a terribly unique scent if you ask me. Diptyque Eau Duelle comes to my mind in terms of similar spicy vanilla. I see the resemblance in the olfactory pyramids, too. The difference is though, Eau Duelle quickly turns into sharp spices on me while smells divine on many other people, but Tenera remains true and beautiful on me. Owning Tenera, now I have no lingering desire for Eau Duelle. If you prefer sweet woody oriental fragrances, I wholeheartedly recommend Tenera. Ah, it is so gorgeous.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Chatoyant review

Having praised the other two, Chatoyant (notes) still remains my favorite. I tried it a few years ago and did think it's a feminine and unique scent, but now I find it even more amazing. Chatoyant opens quite bright with the citrus accord, but I love its smooth milky heart the most. I could swear there is coconut in the play but it is the orchid disguised, which is fascinating! Chatoyant is such a sensual scent that drives me positively crazy. I see myself purchasing a full bottle in the near future. There is nothing conventional about this woody floral but Chatoyant would easily please a larger crowd. It is a rare gem in my opinion.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Fragrant Confections Collector's Coffret review

Bottomline, a beautiful set consist of all winners. Rouge Bunny Rouge Fragrant Confections Collector's Coffret is a limited edition and priced at $135 (it comes with a $50 voucher that can be used to purchase a 50ml bottle of any of the three in the set. Valid for 90 days). There is also Provence Tales Collector's Coffret available if you're into deeper woody/chypre suitable for both men and women (I am actually considering this for my guy). 1. This set is absolutely gorgeous Lena! And the scents sound rather unique as well. I haven't tried any Rouge Bunny products but I do know of how pretty their products are thanks to your collection :)

Happy new week Lena! You have me all intrigued about air fryers now. I usually just roast my purple sweet potatoes ;p

    1. Each one of them is really high quality. Definitely not one of those chemical mess but also easy to love. They literally rekindled my love for fragrances. On top of their pressed powders which are super for drier skin types, I'd recommend the perfumes if you're considering. :)

  2. Ooh I'm very curious about Chatoyant now. RougeBunny is now on my list for fragrances.

    1. Chatoyant is really pretty! I initially thought it might be similar to Fleur de Corail (Lolita Lempicka), but no, it plays very differently. RBR also has a sample set that comes with a $50 voucher that includes Chatoyant, if you're interested.

  3. Wow the bottles are so pretty! I love finding perfumes from non clothing designer brands as I find the scents are more unique!

    1. I'd highly recommend this set to anyone. I find some of the niche fragrances too expensive or hard to understand, but RBR offers the perfect balance in that sense. :)
