FOTD | Blue Smoky

(Sorry, it is not "Naked Smoky".)

I am looking forward to the second part of the Chanel Summer 2015 collection, Blue Rhythm de Chanel. From the images on the web, I've gathered I have pretty much every dupe for what's being offered (including these two stunning nail polishes), but I think I do need the blue eyeshadow quad, Tissé Jazz
This Blue Smoky FOTD was a byproduct of my inventory check (so to speak), because I didn't want to end up with two Chanel eyeshadow quads that are too similar to each other. For this look, I used Chanel Quadra 41 Fascination (reviewed here) which is the bluest eyeshadow quad that I own at the moment. I think that will change soon, though.

From the Chanel Quadra Fascination,
Shade 1 was used on the lid space, shade 2 to blend the harsh edges, shade 3 to highlight the inner corners, and lastly shade 4 to line the lower lash lines.

To be honest, this quad requires no technique since the colors blend in so effortlessly.
Just do whatever you fancy, and you will come up with a beautifully complex blue with a satin finish.
Here, no primer was used.

The thing with Fascination is that it is not really a blue eyeshadow quad. I've tried quite a few different combinations, but the end result is never a true blue. It leans towards teal or grey depends on which color you use the most. Which is fine with me since I like the complex colors. But you see, I will need Tissé Jazz after all.

(Please don't tell me they look the same. You're interrupting this big ass pre-justification, and more importantly, jeopardizing our friendship.)

(Ok?)

Thanks for looking. Next time I will show you why I won't be getting those glorious blue nail polishes from the same collection, because life needs balance.

Do you like blue eyeshadows? ;)
