Zoya Caitlin & Marley

Zoya Caitlin Marley swatches

Just a real quick manicure post today. Lately, I have been wearing my old Zoya polishes often. Many of them have cool muted undertones, which makes them rather perfect to wear around this time of the year. You guys know I rarely do nail designs (don't have the patience or the skills...) but I wanted to try a zigzag(?) mani this time. Honestly, I am not very fond of the outcome and will try another one with less contrasting colors next time. Both Caitlin and Marley are my favorites, though.

According to Zoya, Caitlin is a smokey purple-tinged medium grey with smooth, opaque creme finish. On my nails, the blue/purple is really pronounced almost appearing a cornflower. A lovely color.

Zoya describes Marley as a pale lavender with a subtle silvery finish. I really like Marley because it's one of the few opaque pastels that does not look harsh against the skin.

Both shades are still in production and available on the Zoya website which I would recommend if you're hauling more than a few or taking advantage of their Earth Day specials. These days, I don't order a lot at once so I've been shopping on Amazon for a few bottles. If it's an ongoing color, you can almost always find one on eBay at a more affordable price than the retail, though.
