Holiday Look 1 - Chocolate And Berries

Lately I have not been very inspired to try new makeup looks but also feel bored of the same neutral combinations of the norm, so I decide to push myself a little by putting some holiday-appropriate(?) looks together.
(Gosh, I don't know why I always feel I need to explain the reason. It is "No sin for a woman's transformation", after all.)

But then, it is not much of a transformation. I just used two colors that I wouldn't normally wear together.
The image of "Chocolate and Berries" came to my mind, and I thought this scrumptious dessert combo sounded quite "holiday". :)

Holiday Look 1 - "Chocolate and Berries"

Core makeup products used for this look

For a luminous complexion, I mixed Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer 7 (1) with Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation Light Vanilla (2), then set it by dusting Rouge Bunny Rouge Precious Velvet Pressed powder Piano Forte (3) only on the T-zone.
Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer was used first (4, review to come).
I used tarte smolderEyes Gunmetal shade (5, this is a very pretty taupe color, btw) over my lids and also to line my lower lash lines.
Then I packed stila Barefoot Contessa (6) over and intensified the outer corners using stila Java (7), and smoothed out the harsh edges and highlighted the inner corners with stila Wheat (8).
On the lips, I chose to wear Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Smitten (9) over lip balm.
Revlon matte blush Blushing Berry (10) was used for slightly flushed cheeks.

This would have been a more conservative look if it wasn't for the NEO Glamour Brown Contacts.
I think they really set the tone for this look. The orange brown colored lenses show up medium brown on my very dark brown eyes.

No complicated technique nor extra step was needed, but I think the bolder color combination of this look would be still attention-grabbing for the holiday gatherings.

Hope you enjoyed this look.
What do you think of the idea of using different colors rather than wearing more makeup for the special occasions? :)
