Swatch, Review - L'Oreal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain Pink Perseverance

I think this is the last one of the series for a while although I cannot guarantee anything.
(I still look at those swatch pictures occasionally and daydream about getting some more..)

Pink Perseverance would be probably the least favored color from the bunch for being super sheer and almost invisible on.
I even read a review saying it is like "clear glue", but it actually sounded intriguing to me.
Plus I knew the color would warm up and deepen at least a little from my experience with other colors from the same line.

"Mama, am I the ugly duckling..?"

Pink Perseverance is a very pale baby pink with shimmer.
(Sorry it is out of focus..)

If you are looking for nice pigmentation and definition, this would not be your best bet.
However, I like it as it is for a couple of reasons.

My lips are pigmented and defined enough so I don't normally have problems with sheer light colors like this. I must own more than five of similar colors but I often find them quickly turn into messy blah and I have to constantly reapply to keep that paleness(?) intact.
Sometimes pale lip colors could be high maintenance just like dark vivid ones!
With Pink Perseverance, it is much easier. Pale it maybe, but it lasts and lasts.

I also think it works like a primer for other lip colors.
I actually wanted to try it under some other slippery lippies because that dear blogger said it was like "glue"!
(And this is why I value any blog review whether it is rave or rant.)
This indeed helps other lip glosses and lipsticks to stay longer without altering the colors much.

I like wearing this with L'Oreal Colour Caresse Lipstick Pink Plush.
These two colors actually remind me of Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Lingerie Pink.

I also tried Pink Perseverance with Rose On and On to create a softer pink shade and it was pretty good.
I have worn it alone for this look as well.
