Givenchy Holiday 2025 Makeup Collection

Givenchy holiday 2025 Makeup Collection is probably the most underrated one out there. I don't think it has generated a lot of buzz (I mean, compared to the Chanel and the Dior Holiday Collections, for example), and it's understandable since Givenchy didn't do anything out of the ordinary for this collection. But, this is so well done!

Givenchy Le 9.16 Parisian Lights ($72, Givenchy Beauty)

I thought this was going to be another neutral palette, and it packs some punch, too!

There are more than a few shimmery shades that we would call "holiday elements" in both warm and cool tones. You also get beautiful satin and metallic taupe browns, as well as some good base and depth shades.

You can easily create both an everyday neutral look and a shimmery and festive holiday look with this palette. These talc-free eyeshadows are creamy (some shades feel almost wet!) and quite pigmented.

Givenchy Prisme Libre Highlighter 17 Taffetas Iridescent ($48, Sephora)

I admit I bought it for the gorgeous packaging, but these Givenchy loose highlighters are quite lovely. The finish seems to have struck the gold balance - it's noticeable but not too glittery that it would accentuate skin textures.

I guess you can have both warm and cool glow since there are two shades in the jar, but the mixed color is a very pretty ivory that will work nicely on most skin tones. I really like this highlighter, but personally, I would love to see a blush/highlighter duo next time, only because I have too many of these from Givenchy.

Givenchy Le Rouge Velvet Matte P227 Pink Silhouette ($49, Macy's)

This is a recently introduced lipstick range that's promoted with the collection. The slim exterior is quite nice and better than Dior On Stage, which also comes in a slim packaging. It has a good weight, and the Givenchy logo in the middle is chic.

The lipstick formula is excellent! Generally speaking, I am not into matte/velvet formula, but I still appreciate this new lipstick so much. It's comfortable, creamy, blurring, and long-lasting. The coverage is medium to full, quite flexible.

The shade name, Pink Silhouette, is a bit misleading since it is a rosy red. I love the complex undertone of this color. It looks more pink in full coverage, but leans warmer when I sheer it out. Quite interesting, and rather perfect for the holiday look I aim for with this collection.

In my makeup look, I used the warm base and the peach gold shade with brown satins to create a warm-leaning eye look, but added the silver on the lower lashlines for some contrast. Other than the highlighter and the lipstick, I am also wearing Givenchy Serum Foundation, concealer, and the lightest shade of bronzer, which all have quickly become my favorites.

This is such a lovely collection! If you're still on the fence about this collection, I'd highly recommend it, especially the eyeshadow palette.
