(Ahem, next time I will remember to dry my hair before taking pictures.)
There are already plenty of FOTDs on this blog as I always try to include one in my review posts. Not that I am trying to start a new blog series or anything, but I will be adding standalone look posts from now on. This would help me to post regularly and motivate me to be more creative in my daily routines. I am hoping this attempt will encourage me to dig deeper in my makeup stash, too.
Today I put some new makeup items into work for the first time. It wasn't easy as I had initially thought because there was a fundamental obstacle such as the wrong foundation shade. My all-time favorites and silent workhorses came into play to make this look work, though.

(Not pictured) Ebony drawing pencil was used for eyebrows. I am also wearing 1 Day Acuvue Define in Natural Shine (available here).
Giorgio Armani Designer Lift Foundation is rather amazing - natural, long lasting, and comfortable on the skin, but alas, it is at least two shades darker than something I would usually pick up for myself. Once applied, however, the color kind of adjusts itself that it doesn't look all that bad. Plus I used a heck of highlighters both underneath (Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer - most delicate opalescent shimmer, reviewed here) and over (Rouge Bunny Rouge Highlighting Powder) the foundation. Skin Food Peach Sake is an excellent silicone based loose powder that deserves a separate review. I finished off the look with Chanel Rouge Allure Palpitante which is a classic pinky red that never disappoints me.
Hope you enjoyed this look. Happy holidays everyone!
