KLENSPOP Bunny Color Brown

KLENSPOP Bunny Color Brown review

Lately I haven't been experimenting much with different color contacts although I still wear them on a regular basis. I have been mostly reaching for "circle lenses" that give a subtle enhancement as opposed to "color contacts". It is probably because I often work in a very conservative environment where people comment on such things, which I find, well, annoying. (Technically they can't reprimand me even if I wear crazy looking color lenses unless it affects my performance, because I am a freelancer.)

KLENSPOP has kindly provided a couple pairs of contact lenses (of my choice, Grazie.) for reviews, and today I will show Bunny Color Brown to you. This particular design is from the LensPop brand, and it is an excellent medium of both "edgy" and "natural".

Until now, I've never bought circle/color lenses from an etailer based in Korea. For some reason, many are based in Thailand and Hong Kong and they mostly sell lenses manufactured in Korea. Weird, but true. So you would understand that I feel more comfortable getting Korean lenses from Korea, not that I have ever gotten any counterfeit before.
KLENSPOP carries a wide variety of both conventional and circle/color lenses as well as Korean makeup and accessories. I am delighted to see they also carry many different types of 2 week and daily circle lenses which are priced very reasonably.  The website takes major credit cards (not just paypal). I received my package via K-packet (economy mail) and it took about 12 days, which seems pretty standard.

It may be too cute for my taste, but the lenses arrived safely secured in the illustrated boxes.

KLENSPOP Bunny Color Brown

I love that LENSPOP Bunny Color Brown is not huge in diameter and has delicately detailed designs. The orange brown hues guarantee a lighter color transformation on dark brown eyes like mine. It looks very natural also thanks to the softly dotted outer rims.

KLENSPOP Bunny Color Brown review
I am not wearing any more eye makeup than usual.
No falsies required.

The water content is slightly lower than the ones I usually wear (38%. Most NEO Vision lenses contain 42%), but they feel comfortable throughout the day. (It would be more of an accurate statement if I say that I don't really feel them.)

I would highly recommend LENSPOP Bunny Color Brown (which currently happens to be on sale) if you are looking for a natural medium brown pair, not to mention the KLENSPOP is a reliable source for Korean circle/color lens shopping.

SO pretty! I'd love to try something like this someday, but I am blind as a bat hahaha. I'd need prescription ones for sure!

    1. Well, they do come in different powers if you really want to try them. I always find green contacts on blue eyes are so interesting. It is like a sheer mix of aqua blue and I love the effect. Just a suggestion. :)

  2. Colour contacts are so fun but I haven't tried any since the Angel GEOs some time back. This one looks pretty!

    1. Thanks, Liz!
I enjoyed the whole Angel experience myself, but to be honest, the selection is quite limited and many of them are classic designs that have been around for some time.
Obviously, this etailer offers it more affordably since it is based in Korea and all and carry lots of subtle designs with smaller diameters, so I see myself ordering from them from now on. :)

  3. I've always wanted to try circle lenses, but I have to wear prescription lenses. Do these come in prescription? If so I would love to try them.

    1. They do! I myself wear prescription lenses. These days they even make toric color/circle lenses in the popular designs although they are much pricier. :)

  4. It has been many, many years since I last wore circle lenses! I still have a few expired packs left in my draws somewhere. The reason why I stopped wearing them was because they looked unnatural on me but I've seen that circle lenses are becoming more and more real looking nowadays!

The Brown lenses actually look great on you! The orange around the edge really brings the whole colour to life.

    1. I have to agree with you there! Nowadays they seem to be so well-made not to mention they come in great varieties.
I'm not into Gyaru makeup but I still like to switch up my looks, color contacts are essential in my routine. I just make sure I take care of them properly and rotate with glasses and conventional lenses. :)

  5. My eyes are so dry, I can't wear contact lenses anymore :-( That kinda sucks because sometimes, I just want to try a pair out of curiosity. Now, I can't even leave it on for a minute without tearing up like crazy.

    1. Aww, sorry to hear that. Even conventional soft lenses do that to you?
I wear glasses at home and usually just wear conventional ones, so it has been okay so far. *Knock on wood*

    2. My eyes got dry from regular soft contacts (the type you rinse every night and keep for 6 months to a year) but my optometrist suggested switching to daily disposables about five years back and I haven't had as many issues since. I'm okay with more glasses days than before though. :)

  6. These types of lenses seem so fun! I wish that I wasn't so wigged out by putting things in my eyes. I can't even use eye drops without getting squeamish O_o

Thanks for recommending Cuckoo rice cookers. I know of the brand but I'm not familiar with how their products work. Since you had a good experience, I'll have to do a little research into them :)

    1. Ah, I totally understand! I've been doing fine with contact lenses from day one, but doctors say that my eyes are very suitable for contact lens wears anyway, I still try to be very careful. :)

Cuckoo works just like any other Asian rice cooker. It does more, though. It practically can cook anything and it even talks in 3 languages. ;D

  7. so pretty and natural on you. I have never tried colored lenses before and wonder how many uses you could get out of. Do you just store them in their regular container until next use?I would trust the original Korean manufacturer as well for something so delicate.

    1. Thank you!
They are soft lenses so all they need is the same care. For 1 year disposal ones, I actually use aosept solution and barrel/disc containers (much safer and cleaner than using all purpose solution). I have at least 6 regular rotations and use conventional daily ones, but I still discard them after one year.
I'd recommend trying "pack lenses" with shorter life span. There are daily, 3 day, a week, 2 week, and even a month options. They all contain more water and you can toss them after use, which is much more convenient and safer if you're just starting out. HTHS! :)

  8. These look really beautiful and striking on you! I've only tried to insert a contact once and it didn't go well, lol! I've always wanted to try blue and brown eyes on for a change. I think it's fun that people change up their eye color and look with contacts!

    1. I hear some people are really sensitive about putting anything in the eye, which reminds me of an episode from "Friends" where Rachel is freaking out about eye drop. ;)
Yeah, but as you said, it is really fun to change up things. I like wearing blue/grey contacts with warmer toned makeup, for example.

  9. I've never tried colour contacts, anything to do with touching eyes is scary for me :/ But they do look amazzing on you!

I'm glad nowadays there are many safe options for color/circle lenses, but it is a subject matter that we all should be careful about.
