Sometimes I think I am a good example of the "Green Frog" character.
What am I talking about? ;p
"Green Frog (aka 청개구리)" is the beloved(?) character from a Korean folktale, and it is commonly used to refer someone who does everything opposite. The folktale itself is usually told to teach lessons for kids to listen to their parents. lol
(I found a modern version of this folktale on amazon for those who are curious. ;) )
So obviously, I was rocking the vampy wintry nail polishes when it was so sunny and almost summer like, and now I HAVE to wear super pale pastel shades as soon as the weather returns to normal (meaning cold and windy). ;-/

My search for a perfect dark eyeliner that will last on my lower waterlines still continues, but I have kinda made my peace with the possibility that I might never find it.
Maybe my waterlines are simply too watery for anything to stick, which is probably a good thing since my optometrist once told me my eyes are quite suitable for contact lens wearing because of that. ;)
However, my search goes on as I said, so I included a Milani Liquif'eye metallic eye liner pencil in my recent Milani haul.
(This haul was, by the way, about those baked blushes. Keep your eyes peeled for my next swatch post for them! ;p)

I am getting oozed by all the light-hearted spring nail polish colors I have been seeing lately, but for some reason, I can't bring myself to paint them on my tips, just yet.
Hence the revisitation on Essie Bobbing For Baubles. ;)

I bought this quad a while ago and just stuck it in my stash, then I completely forgot about it.
Another sign that I need to take my makeup ban more seriously!
(Go through your makeup box once in a while, ladies. It works like a nicotine patch. ;p)

It was so mild and springy here in the NYC today, it was almost disturbing, but it definitely put me into "spring makeup swatching" mood.
(I know I need to pick up on swatches a little more. There are tons of unswatched stuff on my vanity staring at me.. ;o)
So one at a time, today I have the swatches of my recent acquisition, Cargo Spring 2012 Get The Look Spring Kit for you. :)

I found this campaign image from Cargo FB page.
Isn't she gorgeous? I love the whole look with fresh colorings and butterflies!

e.l.f has grown and improved in both product quality and brand image over the years, which is quite pleasant to observe and experience as a customer.
e.l.f reminds me of the Korean brand Missha in many ways.
I don't think many of you remember how Missha first started since Missha is now a whole different entity with fancier image, but it actually started with a couple of super affordable products that were only 1000 won (it is less than $1), and of course, there were some questions and doubts about the quality raised by its dirt cheap price. ;)
Ok, enough with trivia...now back to e.l.f. ;p
Nowadays stores like K-mart and Target carry e.l.f products for easier access, but i don't think I have purchased anything offline.
e.l.f. website always has some sort of good deal going on plus I don't really have those stores around me, so I usually place a relatively small order online.
If you are like myself who doesn't mind waiting for a package and even enjoy the mild suspense (?) waiting for it, buying e.l.f online is not a bad idea. (and this is also other reason e.l.f. can keep their price reasonable, I reckon.)
I thought I could help my readers a little by introducing my favorite picks from e.l.f.
I mean there are tons of products to choose from, and let's face it, I find some of them are still duds regardless the cheap price!
So without further ado, I present my picks from e.l.f. cosmetics.
(Thanks for the inspiration, Shopping Obsession! ^-^)

Long time no lens review, right? ;p
No worries, I still love color contacts and wear them quite often. I even have some new found favorites.
Today, I have a review for GEO Bella Grey, which is one them.

I am sorry I haven't updated for close to a week.
I wanted to do a review post yesterday, but I guess I was too distracted and frustrated about the "Google Friends Connect" situation here.
(My GFC wouldn't load up and it has been that way more than 24 hours now. I tried different browsers and a couple of troubleshooting, but nothing has worked so far...T,.T)
To ease the pain(?), I decided to get my new goody "The Black Knight" on my tips.
We always feel better when we look at pretty things, right? ^-^;
