This simple and posh looking color was almost impossible to capture since it dramatically changes depends on lighting.
I finally managed to take a couple of pictures that look close to real life (at least to me). :)
Toff is not an easy color to describe.
To me it still falls into the purple/mauve category, but there are rose and brown thrown in as well so that makes the color dusty and more suitable for colder months.
I know now everyone is swatching pastels for spring (especially shimmery greens!) but I am not feeling it just yet.
(It just got cold and windy again here in the NYC after a few days of unseasonably mild weather. ;-/ )
I think this would be a perfect transitional color for the season.
Not too light, not too dark, just the way I am feeling right now. ;)
Toff is a part of Fall/Winter 2011 collection.
This is a really pretty color.

ReplyDeletesooo pretty! how do u get your polish to look so glossy & shiny?? i think this is a beautiful color. im def not ready to wear pastels yet. actually i never really like wearing light color np hahaha even in spring or summer i'll sometimes break out a dark vampy color. ehhh who cares, they're my nails! hahaha
ReplyDeleteyea I totally know what you mean, it's a little early for pastel nail shades for me. I love this color on you and the mauve is cool.

thanks for stopping by and adding me to your list. you are on my reading list as well. :)
ReplyDeletei think i will eventually wear some of the trends but i am dark purple polish kind of gal at heart. lol
thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteit is actually the top coat i use.
i usually top my polish with Seche Vite or Poshe fast drying top coats. they make polish dry in a couple minutes and add really great shine. Seche Vite is initially shinier and used at lots of professional salons. hths!
i agree with your polish color preference. i won't wear any pastel before i rock some darks couple more times. ;)
lol. the joy of enabling!
ReplyDeletegood thing is this is a part of the permament collection. you can get it anytime. :)
thanks, Pamela! :)
