Skincare Haul - VIVITE Core System

My new skincare set has arrived. ;)
I am almost finishing up my trustee Avene Eluage range so I have been searching carefully for my next regimen.
(I usually take a break from retinaldehyde products after one term.)
Initially I considered getting one of the new lines from Naruko, but I simply coudn't find enough reviews or information other than the descriptions on the website.

Some good reviews I've read about VIVITE products on blogger (thanks, Ahleessa!) and makeupally.com were very helpful, and I thought it was pretty safe to go with alpha hydroxy acid products since they have worked for me well in the past.

I got a good deal from one of the new year skincare sales and paid less than $200 for the set plus daytime moisturizer with SPF 30.
(They retail for over $300, but you can easily find them at discounted price as it is quite common for these pharmaceutical brands.)

The orchid violet colored box the set came in is pretty and has no logo on.(!)
It would useful to store things later. I like it. ;)

The set includes..
Exfoliating Facial Cleanser (6.76 fl oz, 200 ml)
Daily Antioxidant Facial Serum (1 oz, 30 ml)
Night Renewal Facial Cream (2 oz, 60 ml)
Revitalizing Eye Cream (0.5 oz, 15 ml)
I also purchased Daily Facial Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 30 (1.7 oz, 50 ml)

This set came with a bonus travel kit which is basically a miniature of the whole set. :)

I hope this regimen works for me without giving me any negative reaction.

Unlike makeup reviews, it takes time to review skincare items properly.
I just wanted to quickly show my new goodies to you and share my excitement but of course, I will do separate review postings on each products in the future. :)

  1. Ooh the box is pretty! I'll be interested to see how this works for you. I'm always a little wary with new skin regimens since my skin tends to be sensitive.

  4. so far, i have used the exfoliating cleanser and it is working pretty well. a standard glycolic acid cleanser with gentle beads. i am pretty much used to even stronger form of AHA and retinaldehyde products, but they could be irritating. it's always better with starting with just one product and add from there. ;)

  6. i am not a stranger to AHA family but i guess i should take caution since glycolic acid is kinda aggressive form of AHA. ;)

  8. The bottles are very sleek, I like the packaging. I don't think I'd open the product though.. the texture of the box creeps me out. LOL It's one of those weird phobias I have. XD

  9. what, really? lolz. they are soft to touch! xD
these are supposed to be a higher-end of MD forte. i like the packaging for its clean look but also it's not so phamaceutical looking, if that makes sense. ;)

  11. I have issues with certain textures. Velour CREEPS ME OUT! Anything flocked like fuzzy peaches gives me the shivers.
