EOTD, Review - L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow Sultry Smoke

I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas! :)

I want to do EOTDs and FOTDs (if possible) using my recently purchased L'Oreal Infallible shadows.
I am planning to use just single shade with eyeliner and mascara, so it would be like swatching on eyelids.

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow Sultry Smoke

(Yes, I am recycling my pics. ;) )

I thought this shade was matte since other shades I bought look so shimmery and glittery, but it turns out this one is also very slightly shimmery. However, the shimmer in this is so subtle it would pass as a matte shade.
This is probably the creamiest in consistency and it is very easy to work with. I used a stiff eyeshadow brush and it applied evenly with minimum fallout.
You can customize the color intensity depends on how you use it as well.
I got a sheer coverage with sweeping motion and more color by pecking it carefully.

sorry about the eyeliner misapplication and the white cast. I initially tried to wear falsies but I failed miserably. T,.T
These mistakes were not so visible in real life, really. ;p

I am wearing
L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Sultry Smoke
Maybelline Master Drama eyeliner in Coal Commander
L'Oreal Voluminus False Fiber Lashes Waterproof mascara in Black
NEO Monet contacts in Blue

I did not use any eyeshadow primer this time, but it lasted all day without changing color.

  11. It applies surprisingly blue, I like it! I was actually more drawn to the shimmer eyeshadow shades from your previous post, now I'm convinced otherwise. Great EOTD!

How pretty! The color is really nice. It's hard to find smokey shadow colors without looking filthy. I love reading your posts on drugstore brands. They're really helpful, considering the fact that I can't test them before purchasing them

  13. i am glad you find this helpful! :)
i think drugstore brands are nice if you just know what to buy. on the other hand you could waste suprising amount of money sometimes. lol

  14. thank you Stacey. ;)
it might be showing a little bluer than what it is, but certainly it is not a dirty looking.
i just noticed they come in 3 different kinds of shimmer. luckily i happened to include all of them in my purchase. ^-^

  20. thanks :)
i wish i could put something on my lower waterline, but i can't find anything that stays.
and i usually skip mascara on lower lashes so lining like that works for me. ;)
